The Hot Hatches Series is wicked awesome, I picked up only the GTI and the WRC Escort Cosworth and I was bummed to find two big chips on my Cosworth so you’re not alone in getting cars out of the package with chips.

I open green machines I like the look of. The ones I dont like I hope to sell or trade - this includes all green rims ones as I like realistic looking cars. The hot hatch series is nice but the ford and nissan are not hot hatches. The new escort casting looks amazing. I agree with you on the Golf - one of my recent favorites too. I wish they could do more small cars from that era. My main gripe on the GMC Jimmy/Chevy blazer casting is that it sits too low. It's back wheels drag. They need to retool the base. Ideally they would release three bases: lifted, 2wd and 4wd.

They look very close to the Muscle Machine Import Tuner series cars.

That picticuler Nissan and Mustang both have a hatch that opens in the back.

Congrats on the green machine, that always makes a case opening a little bit better. I'm with you on buying an extra car or two of something that I want to customize. Thank you for opening them and showing them to us.

Keep the Green Machines in it's package but the rest I open🚀

I just got my own butiful escort Cossie today, from an amazing module shop , I'm not sure if your aware but the escorts have opening bonnets, with amazingly detailed engines!

Glad you opened the green machine. Like you, I don’t buy to re-sell so I’m not concerned about a particular piece’s “perceived” value. Only time I wouldn’t open is if I happen across one in a casting I’m not into. In which case I trade it for something else.

I purchased both Escorts and they're fantastic castings. The spoiler on the purple '94 broke on mine and there was a chunk of metal taken out by the C pillar. Fixed the spoiler with a bit of glue. The hoods open on those Escorts too. In reference to the numbers on the bottom of the cars, from what I understand, those are their edition numbers. So that GTi was the 5,181 car made of that model for that series. You're right in that GL doesn't say how many overall are produced. I remember them doing so on the Black Bandit series, but that's about it. Idk what percentage of each casting is a Green Machine but assuming it's 5% and not knowing the total made we'll never know the true amount of greenies. I know JL and AW chases are 2% of each run and they at least put production numbers on their packaging. Finally, if I buy greenies, I use them for trade. Same with white lightnings or any other chase with colored tires. I prefer my cars to look authentic so I guess I'm rare in that while I enjoy hunting for chases, I prefer the non-chase versions more (except for HW $upers they ALWAYS look better than their mainline counterpart).

Yeah, I ordered these on Amazon 2 years again and they were never delivered, haven’t seen them on Amazon since.

I follow the diecast manufacturers facebook pages, and stores I buy from. Those always show what's coming, and offer pre-order in some cases.

I have that 370Z but to me it is a sports car not a hot hatch

I could live without the 370Z for sure. It's to new , hideous, and isn't as iconic as the the other cars in this set. Something more iconic like a hatch from Honda would have been more appropriate like the CRX or one of the multiple Civic's, Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, Peugeot 205, Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, Mazda 323, heck even the Dodge Omni would have been a better choice.

I repaint those green wheels anyway they are butt ugly lol
