Yes it is possible, I didn't think it was. A little tutorial video on how to use your tomtom (any flavour) to navigate the byways.

Of course the tomtom wont navigate you down the lane, MOST are obvious where you're going, it would be senbsible to carry an OS as well. This will navigate you between all the lanes.

The bike charger for tomtom rider 2 is the issue, I've rewired mine with a different circuit and it works fine. Also stops the blocking of features while moving ;-) I'll have to post a howto at some point. Cheers for the vid Sven
That's helpful and the Garmin tutorial would be useful too.
starwars.tomtom.com The announcement of Darth on the studio reminded me of you in one of your rants...lol Good info mate!
@svengalie East Yorkshire area matey.
Brilliant thanks. Tried it today, I had 23 waypoints but my tom tom (300 go) only did 10 of them then took me to the final destination ?? it ignored items 11-22 even though they were on the list of waypoints left to visit ? Any advise would be great. Many thanks
What software/maps are you using there sven? Im using memory map 5 and have a couple of digital maps of my local area for it (explorer maps, i think?), but i've only been able to find 1! byway, 20 miles away!? What exactly are we allowed to ride on? Any tips/advice to finding them? Only just getting into greenlaning but if all i have to ride is one lane i'll either sell the bike or put the motard wheels back on it so any help is greatly appreciated!
The new TomTom rider is out any day... no SD card slot !
Many Thanks
bearing in mind you proberbly wont know were your going, does tom tom show your at stop point 1 so you know to look for the start of a byway, other wise every time you pass a farm track your going to be thinking .....mmmm. is that a byway DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF TOM TOM TELLS YOUR YOUR AT YOUR PREDETERMINED EN ROUTE STOP POINTS
@onelungwarrior Lawmand does north york moors doesnt he? The problem is, i/we have no access to a car/trailer/van so we've gotta ride up on the bikes. Long distance on a 200cc two stroke/250cc 4 stroke just isnt fun. Talking at least an 80mile round trip before we even see a lane! Was hoping for something a little closer to home, one because my two stroke eats petrol/oil like its going out of fashion, and two, i don't like having a numb arse!... XD
I wish I could do stuff like this with the iPhone version of TomTom... grr.
