Not a huge Indycar fan, but the 3 wide start at Indy is fucking amazing.
As a casual motorsport enjoyer, I appreciate Indy AND F1 and the occasional NASCAR and MotoGP race. Cool stuff.
Indy car and NASCAR need to take a page out of F1. If F1 can do a televised broadcast flag to flag with no commercials so can Indy and so can NASCAR.commercials are horrible!

For the scale of the event, INDY 500 definitely needs the commercial free coverage. Rest of the season would be nice but due to the network deals here can't happen.

Agree, I only watch non commercial programming. I gave up TV 15 years ago. I subscribe to F1 TV. How about Max today. World's best driver and what a beast of a driver. Best driver since Senna and maybe Max will one day surpass Ayrton. GO MAX 🏆

It’s not NASCAR or Indycar , it’s the networks that put the commercials in. Here in new Zealand they are on pay tv ( sky television ) so no adverts during the race. We just don’t get commentary whilst the adverts are on in the USA.

@R M Yes, and the network negotiates the deal with the series for the terms of the broadcast. Which is why F1 feeds begin with who is doing the commercial-free sponsoring they negotiate. For the IndyCar, NASCAR, IMSA, etc series that hasn't been the model and/or push to have like in F1. Also shows the difference between European and American business models.
We need more commercials
The great thing about Indy car racing is that it is one form of motorsports that Toyota hasn't ruined yet.
Why don't you just cover it LIVE?

I watched the 2 or 3 laps here and that was enough of going around in circles for me. The Monaco Race This Morning With Max Was Spellbinding. KING MAX 👑
65 laps and no shots of the wives, girlfriends or mothers...unbelievable.

As a fan this is no longer the greatest race its become a pay to view and have to watch a million commercials. Make the Indy 500 great again and move back to free channels and ditch this pay to view !

Pato O'ward is an out of control Prima Donna and seems like a dangerous driver to the series. He suggests he will take out drivers for retribution. 😶
