Watching Scottie Mac during the Aussie V8 Supercars is the reason why I started watching Indycar!

From me in Melbourne CONGRATULATIONS SCOTTY what a killer drive that was. That was so good and so exciting to watch. Loved watching you in the V8’s and I love watching you in Indy cars to mate well don’t go get the 500 win and on that top step 🤙💪

I remember the year Whincup Trashed Scotty’s fabulous Volvo V8 run with an extremely dangerous redress manoeuvre that had he waited probably would have Seen Scotty Win … but he persevered and won a few … keep it up Scotty !

I think we are in for a real special Indy 500 this year, especially when you got that Rick Mears livery leading the field to green!

I became a Scotty Mac fan several years ago when I watched him beat Shane Van Gisbergen to claim his first SuperCars title. When I heard of him leaving SuperCars and going IndyCar racing, I knew what was going happen and this is the first step, win next Sunday? I hope so, he has earned it. GO SCOTTY MAC!!!!!!!

That is just INCREDIBLE! Love to see drivers perform so well in multiple disciplines like Scotty and Kyle! They’re two of my podium picks for sure!

This was the best Indy 500 qualifying ever with the Thirsty Three front row and Kyle Larson doing what he does best!! Awesome period!!! Power will get his pole next year for sure.

Us Kiwi's all new he was a special kid when he started in V8 Supercars and I'm so proud to be a Kiwi watching him go from dominating Supercars to now being at the start of the grid at the Indy 500! Very proud kiwi moment, this is only the beginning!

Will Power thought Scotty could of trimmed it more after his run, so if he did it would of been quicker again. Mind boggling how glued the yellow submarine was to the track.

It's so nice to see the lads from Australia and New Zealand showing their skills in the U.S. The audience for racing here is quite niche, despite the V8 supercars' popularity. I'd like to keep seeing more of them compete and show their mettle to the Yanks.
