I remember watching Greed on GSN when I was little. All I can remember were the Qualifying Questions and the sound effects and music were stuck in my head for years. Greed deserved a longer run in my opinion.

Even if Mike decided to challenge someone, I'm sure Larry still would've rejected his Terminator. He seems like a really nice guy who wouldn't want to eliminate anyone. However the Terminator is my favorite part of the game but I can see why you liked Larry's team. I'm glad their generosity paid off though.

This episode was never shown on Game Show Network as a 1 hour rerun, but thankfully we remember watching "Greed" when it aired its first run episodes broadcast on Fox in 2000 with host Chuck Woolery, and Fox aired this show as a 2 parter. And we were lucky when NBC's "Twenty One" aired in 2000 with host Maury Povich, and in rerun broadcasts later on PAX TV (Now Ion Television), and in 2003 on Game Show Network when we had to record all 5 episodes with tie breaker question segments in a "Twenty One" marathon on a VHS tape, right before "The Weakest Link" with host George Gray now an announcer on "The Price Is Right" right before the tape ran out with a DIRECTV iconic "D" logo appeared onscreen, and smooth jazz music played on air.

That's probably because Toffler's team was the only team throughout the show's whole run that won $500,000 with all five members still in place and both Terminator challenges refused. Another fun fact: Including both of Toffler's team's Terminator rejections, there have only been nine Terminator rejections throughout the entire 44-episode run of the show.

On the last two incorrect answers on that Gone in the 70s question, Star Trek’s original network run ended on June 3, 1969 and the Iranian Hostage Crisis ended on January 20, 1981. (The same day Reagan took office as President as Larry correctly pointed out) The other incorrect answer, AT&T Telephone monopoly (which was eliminated by the freebie) ended on January 1, 1984.
