first time listen it was confusing.But it grew on me and now stuck in my head.Marina is a very experienced and well trained singer and dancer.Her live vocals are fine and she's a 'concetrated' artist.One of her great continental hits was the etherial 'KOYPES" as well as the super interesting 'MANTISSA" ('Fortuneteller" in free translation)

Guys I think u reacted on the wrong high-pitched vid that Eurovision channel upload on their channel. They deleted and reuploaded it

This video clip is simply iconic. And for those who didn't understand, Marina is a tour guide who picked up the German tourist with socks and sandals from the airport and gives him a guided tour of Athens together with other tourists who join her tour, where she actually introduces them to the stereotypical Greece alongside the real Greece. A simple genius idea. Her postcard to Europe at the end of the song is also perfect.

@@ar50000 Dear friend, Cyprus and Greece used to be one country some years back in the 70's but the Turks invaded the North part of Cyprus slaughtered all the people and created a pseudo state that is not recognized by anyone until now! Greece and Cyprus are not neighbours IS ONE COUNTRY that was divided. Therefore the 12 points are symbolic. LOVE + PEACE to everyone!

Marina has her own vocal team, called Fones (trs vocals in greek) and trey are all amanizg!! She will have ar least 2 members of this team with her! And yes! Zari will have an AMAZING performance!! ❤

Also there were many artists collaborating on the music, though Marina herself is famous for mixing up different music styles and sounds from Greece and eastern as well, since her father is from Syria I think. The music video is a satire of stereotypes of foreigners about Greece. Tzatziki, gyros, souvlaki, etc... Marina said that she wants people to go beyond these stereotypes of Greece. This is ridiculous, we are trolling our own country, devaluing it, and indeed feeding into the worst of stereotypes. Just because she is vocally talented, does not mean the spirit of the accompanying video, made by an Australian, does her justice. Greek guy here! I was expecting for your reaction guys! I m so glad you liked it! First time i listened to it i was in shock. Today? I can't stop singing it and dancing, i just love it! As for the videoclip, i think it is a masterpiece. The choreography for the stage will be directed by Majnoon (has worked with Madonna, Loreen, Rosalia). I think eurofans will love it, i m not sure about the juries. ps: Filakia at the end of her postcard means kisses :)

Yeeey! Finally released 🎉 I love this artist and I was confused at the beginning but after 2 times I was dancing 😂 From my understanding of the clip, Marina takes a tourist from the airport with that car and takes him to see the real Greece, doing also crazy stuff to have fun. It's crazy but funny 😂 At the beginning she shows her vocals: from an interview she said that she is a soprano and she graduated from the conservatorium of Athens. Ps: You MUST visit Greece, but not only standard places like Santorini or Mykonos, which are stunning, but also the islands, where you can see the real folklore and people singing and dancing in the streets, drinking ouzo, the local drink. I've been there on holiday and it was the most beautiful holiday of my life, even if people didn't understand English and I communicated with Italian gestures 😂

I understand that the song may confuse you in its initial stages. however, for us who have lived in Greece since our birth, it is a simple everyday thing for us after work to go for a walk to the monastery and have fun. you have to have experienced our way of life, our mentality to feel the song. to spend a day as a Greek and do our customs. see the artist in her song "mantisa".
