I always thought why doesnt snooker try the darts style of loud crowds and chants. After seeing this, I think I'll stick with clapping and silence. This is absolute dross.

I still don't know how to feel about shoot outs audiences, here the screaming was constant during the match and it didn't sit right with me. I think the cheering during the blue ball shoot out made a great atmosphere though. At least both of the players came across as really enjoying the crowd, especially Wilson lol

The guy shouting "don't bottle it" literally as Murphy was pulling the cue back on the Blue on 129 was ridiculous. Plus there were people booing his pots and shouting they hoped he'd miss. The crowd shouting "baldy" at Slessor is pathetic. And especially the shouting out of Asian actors' names when Chinese players are playing is awful and disgusting.

Such a very cool customer Si. I called him the winner of the last WCS after beating Murphy R1. People told me I was crazy, but I think they can now see his true potential. Whatever "It" means, he's got it. He has a genuine touch of a champion in the making.

Yeah dude! I didn't watch that round 1, but his semi against Luca was one of the best matches I've ever seen! So excited to see what the future has to offer him! Hoping he wins a title soon!

playing si is scary ! his cueing is like a dream! the cue doesn't go up or down after delivery and this gives huge confidence ,makes the game feel look like a video game

Am I the only one who hates snooker shoot outs? I just think the audience shouting out feels so forced, it doesnt feel natural like this isn't what snooker fans are usually like. and the few ones who shout the loudest seem like they're just looking for attention and trying to be funny and they just come across as knob heads. maybe it's just me

There have been other events where it's rowdy but civilised, and it's usually enjoyable. But I knew when they were coming to Swansea (where I live) it would be far from it. Too many here vying to be the class clown and some being racist, it's an awful look for the competition.

Kyren is quality. I've really appreciated him over the past few years. His commentary is also very good and insightful. Just seems like a decent lad. Also Si is incredible and I hope he breaks theough into a serious contender, some of fhe shit i saw him doat the Worlds last year was outrageous. Also, Si, seems like a very friendly dude.

I assume someone in Matchroom thought that mixing a darts crowd with a snooker match was a good idea. It’s not serious snooker and it comes across as fake.

I’ve got to watch this muted which is a shame because you miss out on the commentary. The crowd noise feels so forced and cringe, is one of the criteria to getting a ticket being a ‘gob sh*te’? Watching this is akin to watching the football with no crowd noise. It just feels wrong. It’s a shame because I actually love the format, certain parts of the crowd just ruin it thinking they’re funny when they’re really not.

As someone who had a bet on Si Jiahui (20$ to win 50$) that shit was wild i almost turned my tv off before that last yellow. Cold.

They should hold an event as a single-ball potting format, scores out of 10 shots each on the pink and blue or whatever.

Never ever again in Wales/Swansea. Awful crowd vibe ☠️

Never seen a a shootout in Shoot Out actually, so I'm guessing the rules are that the last person to pot has the choise..? that feels counterintuitive tho

The audience seem to much like a football match! Kills the short format sport in my view

Can't stand snooker shoot out, if you want to keep the format, and let people scream and shout out at the players, I think they should swap the pro players, and have pub players take part instead, the pub players can have a bite of their kabbab while waiting for thier shot, and when they get to the table, they can have a realy loud fart, just has they take their shot, in my opinion, its the worst form off snooker , an serious snooker fan can watch, and should be concined to the scap heap.
