    I’ve definitely had a frame playing my mum where more points than that have been scored but I wouldn’t call it a tactical masterclass 😂

    These are great highlights to have in short form. I love the tactical battles as much as the big pots but watching an hour of this frame is challanging however condensed into 20 minutes its a masterclass! :)

    In the last frame of the semi-final between Kyren Wilson and Anthony McGill at the 2020 World Championship, the final score was 103-83 (total score of 186). Wilson didn't bother to pot the final black, which would have made the total score 193.

    Imagine Williams making one more foul from that last difficult snooker, hitting the black, for a score of 76-101. Williams then goes on to clear the table, and we see a respotted black at a score of 101-101. Final total score would have been 209 points. The possibilities...

  • @dco1019

    @dco1019

    5 ай бұрын

    Perhaps that's the view that the guy is using to direct the ref. In truth the best way would be some sort of way to project that camera view with the coordinates to the real table. I would've assumed that a laser pointer system would be doable for many years. But I guess world snooker thinks otherwise

  • @Alequez97

    @Alequez97

    5 ай бұрын

    For me it's more interesting why they don't use some sort of projector that would make a projection of last position on the table. I don't believe it's impossible with modern technologies. It would make position recover easier and more precise

  • @HookUp79

    @HookUp79

    5 ай бұрын

    @@Alequez97 There would be easily ways to do that - maybe with a laser pointer - but I guess they have to use stuff that is available at any location. So I assume if it’s not recorded for TV and/or no second referee with a screen at the table the ref will simply guess it. Maybe I am wrong about that - haven’t read any details about that topic - but I guess they have the second referee for TV events because it bothered viewers if the repositioning is too far off.
