I don't think that is this decade is undarretad. Are underrated in my opinion the decades between 1870-1920s,1940s and 2010s.

@@Fil_Ok 1870-1920 são poucos países que o futebol tinha chegado, então fica difícil comparar os melhores. 1930 realmente é um década bastante subestimada. Meazza é lembrado pelos italianos Zamora e Quincoces pelos espanhóis Leônidas e Domingos pelos brasileiros 2000 e 2010 também são décadas subestimados. Principalmente 2010 praticamente foi ofuscado por Messi e Cristiano Ronaldo.

@@guilhermebatista4010 Meazza, Zamora, Piola are still known by many today. Much more than the footballers 1870-1920 or Moreno, Pedernera. 2010 is underrated for the reason you said. The fact that Messi and Ronaldo dominated the decade doesn't mean that everything else was weak, as some mistakenly say.

Another great video. Some comments: WM became standard in UK since mid 30s (due to Arsenal), the vast majority still played Pyramid and variants (mettodo, danubian school, etc.). Still, some players picked in roles not played by them.

It left out the player that so much impressed the Uruguaians in the 1930 World Cup they called him the "Marvelous Black" . The Brazilian center half FAUSTO.

Uruguay was the team of the 20's and the only time they met Italy was in the 1928 Olympics semifinal, result 3-2 for Uruguay with a disallowed goal for Italy and a penalty not conceded for hands by Andrade. Best player of the competition was awarded Orsi (then playing for Argentina). Combi, Caligaris, Bernardini, Baloncieri from Italy made the best XI. Meazza was 17 at the time and still hadn't played for Italy. He would debut the year after, winning the then European Cup scoring 5 goals in the 2 remaining matches just age 18. Nasazzi was a central defender, Meazza a 9 and a 10. His idol was Scarone, with whom he played at Inter 1931-1933 and from whom he kept the title as the world's best player
