A todos los opinólogos. NO está usando la batería o pila de 1,5 v como proveedor de energía para soldar, solo usa el ánodo central de grafito, como punto de contacto de fusión. Tampoco creo en absoluto que el cargador de computadora de 19,5 volt, entregue la corriente necesaria para soldar, antes se quemaría o actuaría la protección interna del cargador, porque lo tomaría como un cortocircuito. Creo el presentador está usando -(tras bambalinas)- una bateria de 12 v. de 75 A. de automóvil. Por eso NO muestra todos juntos los elementos completos, cuando está soldando. Opiniones libres hechos sagrados.

"It is NOT using the 1.5v battery as a power supplier for welding, it is only using the central graphite anode as a fusion contact point. I also do not believe at all that the 19.5 volt computer charger delivers the current necessary for welding, before it would burn out or the internal protection of the charger would act, because it would be taken as a short circuit. I think the presenter is using (behind the scenes) a 12v battery. of 75 A. of automobile. That is why it does NOT show the complete elements together, when you are welding."

Esto es muy antiguo, lo vi en los años ochenta en un taller de electricidad de automóviles, por ca cantidad de amperaje conviene hacerlo con una batería de automóvil . Igual lo felicito por traerlo a las nuevas generaciones. Siempre es bueno aplicar soldadura de estaño a los cables ,con ese mismo método.

As a source I recommend car battery. The AC-DC adapter is irreversibly damaged. This method is used for spot welding of sheets. For wires is still the best soldering of tin.

car battery..hmm, I prefer the sissling sound of the smoking adapterabove the sisssling sound of sulfuric acid eating away substances in its way after exploding battery's due to overconfidance in it's capacity/capability. But awesome what 19v and 3.5 A can do. btw, what did the cables look like, lol

@@ssao0000 The car battery is commonly used in similar applications if there is no other voltage source. Traction batteries that have thick electrodes are best suited. The car batteries do not exploded during large discharges. Only when charging if they have a defective segment.

That's very interesting I see the little something about how to make some connections to the alligator clips without using soldering wire that's handy. For the spot welding I'm not sure there is enough heating that connection to run some solder in it and then do whatever you want to do with the copper ball. DC power supply. In my generate enough heat without spot welding that you can just do some regular soldering. Very interesting video I got some information out of it I'll give you a thumbs up.

WOW! Worked just as you show. The only problem is, now my wife is mad at me. I ruined her jump rope, her "toy" in the bedroom wont run any more, and her laptop wont charge. Also, there is black carbon dust all over the counter top, and scraps of tin and plastic all over the floor. All for a five minute repair if I had only used the solder iron to begin with. SMH.

Very clever idea! You are not welding with a 1.5 volt battery, just a piece of the battery (carbon rod). You are using 19.5 volts from the power adapter. Be careful not to over work the adapter or you'll kill it. Like others have said, use eye protection!!

This is simply carbon arc welding. I'm 80 and my father showed me this when I was 10. He had learned this from his father. Nothing new in this world except creating a lot if work for yourself to solder two wires.

this might work as long as you DONT have a Residual Current Device in your electrical grid!! try do this with the residual current device and it cuts the power to your whole facility in the best case and you have to go reconnect the power again.
