Great Guitar Solos // A Trip in the 70's (Original version WITH Stairway to Heaven!)

Музыка

I don't know why, but this video was blocked the last 4 years and now it isn't.
Consequently, I can share this original version of the video again!
NOT FOR SALE - TRIBUTE ONLY
This is my tribute to some of the great rock guitar solos from the 70's.
I played all guitars, bass, keyboards and I programmed the drums with a Native Instrument plugin.
All guitars and bass were recorded with the Kemper profiler.
Thank you for watching!

To the amateur it may go unnoticed but after being a player for thirty years and nowhere near as good as this guy, i noticed how he not only played these pieces but became the players themselves! He got everything so spot on from the vibratos to the pick attack, even knoflers finger picking! These are things that make good guitar players into great guitar players.

@Bitmapman Yea I saw that... Very nice. I was growing up with all of this on the radio, and then on my vinyl and cassettes. But this penetrated all consciousness and opened up a door to a place in my soul, a place called "Rock and roll?" I just remembered one great solo by TN... with Amboy Dukes. 60s though. Anyway, I have hope for the future if we have people like this. And like these kids: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mGmd26uChKrcg9o.html

I literally do not even have words. I'm just speechless. Sir you are such a phenomenal musician in your own right. But as someone else said in this comment section, you not only played things perfectly, but you really channeled each guitarist. All of that would have been amazing in itself, but your choice of songs, and then the way you transitioned from one song to the other., the modified ending to the hotel california solo so that it went right into Sultans of swing.... the video editing. Everything... just literally EVERYTHING was perfect and more than that. Everything touched my soul. I'm not kidding, I dang near cried during some of those solos. You have a gift my friend. I really hope your video blows up and goes viral because you so deserve it. What a fantastic job. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

theultimatexperience Well its ok if your not big into pink floyd, but the solos in comfortably numb are awesome because of the amount of emotion david gilmour puts into each note, instead of playing 3000 notes per second. Oh and I would recommend listening to full albums instead of listening to single songs by pink floyd. A lot of there songs end up leading into other songs. Wish you were here and dark side of the moon are two albums I would listen to from start to finish.

Freakin' awesome. If I could have one wish, people say to be able to fly, be invisible, etc. Nope, I wish I could play a perfect guitar, kind of what you just did. Nicely done.

I think I see. Kemper profiling amp (could be wrong). I think those things gm have downloadable profiles, but they usually need tweaking and this cat dialed everything spot on. Love it!

To me the Santana tone didn't work. Not bad, but it was kind of to smooth and thin to me.

Comfortably numb still dominating every guitar solo. Gimour must have been floating on a different plane of existence when he wrote that fucking solo. Still the perfect guitar solo in my mind. Great vid, great playing. You performed eruption very well.

This is really quite good. Knowing how to play at least a few of these solos, I know the kind of time required to not only learn them, but attain a reasonable level of proficiency playing them. Well done my friend! Don't know why this doesn't have more views...
