    Gday mate gotta be happy with that , i cant remember if i asked how those grey macks compare to the spaniard ive only ever had spanish mack once and it was great ,not a bad mornings fish and a feed as well love those prawn chips too take care .

    Question! Why are you not using the drag to tire the fish? Therefore, you are holding the spool and not releasing it and breaking the line on your own. Fighting and making the fish tire itself is the fun thing about rod and reel fishing been doing it for over 50 years. food for thought.

    As answered by another viewer the bottom is reef and rock so letting the fish run wasn't an option. Unfortunately on this occasion the fish was a little too big for the 50lb mono leader I was using. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to comment. Cheers, Brad.👍
