I've had mine since the mid 1980's when they first came out with them and it still works great! You should have read the instructions off camera and experimented with it, before ever turning your cameras on! You can't give a bad review when you were the one at fault!

Good Grief! I got mine yesterday, sans instruction book (which is why I'm looking for instructions) and I cut mine perfectly last night. Seems like I should be giving you instructions!

Sad fact is that I've misplaced a part, the part that you core the onion with, oh well, I'll make something work because I am READY for a BLOOMING ONION, everything is ready but the onion!

You cut the top 1/4 off, not the bottom root end. Then it doesn't fall apart. This machine works excellent, the secret is that it is cone shaped.

Leave the root end on

Mine worked great you just have to get it in a position that you can actually press it down. You were at a really bad angle.

You did it wrong that's why to onion came off in pieces.

you are supposed to quickly push it down on the onion. you went very slow.

You need a bigger onion. You must slice it using a very fast strong thrust. He knows nothing. Not very smart. Mine are great
