Lyrics:
You think I’m the enemy
Boxing up identity
But that’s all they want us to see
Divide us into pedigrees
We fight over everything
Instead of going ‘gainst the machine
We keep on pointing fingers
Ready to pull the trigger
Be careful what you say
It’s a shame on our names when we play the blame game
Oh oh oh oh (Hey!)
Oh oh oh oh (Hey!)
Oh oh oh oh (Hey!)
Oh oh oh oh
They want us to take the fall
Pinning us against the wall
Frame it like its all of our fault
So they can ride into the sunset takin' all our power
Abusing accusing teenagers like cowards
We keep on pointing fingers
Ready to pull the trigger
Be careful what you say
It’s a shame on our names when we play the blame game
Oh oh oh oh (Hey!)
Oh oh oh oh (Hey!)
Oh oh oh oh (Hey!)
Oh oh oh oh
But we don’t have to take it if we come together
We don’t have to take it if we come together
No we don’t have to take it if we come together
If we play the blame game, it’s our surrender, whoa
No more pointing fingers
No more pointing fingers
No more pointing fingers
No more pointing fingers
No more pointing fingers
Oh oh oh oh (hey!)
We dont have to take it if we come together (hey!)
Oh oh oh oh (hey!)
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh (hey!)
We dont have to take it if we come together (hey!)
Oh oh oh oh (hey!)
Oh oh oh oh

I honestly think this show is a huge step in it’s subject matter for high school dramas. Like the commentary doesn’t at all feel forced and actually makes an effort to even tell what teenagers still go through today, saying that as a teen myself right now by the way! I am just glad we finally get a show that knows what it wants to say, genuinely
It's so cute how the T-Birds just jumped straight into being their backup dancers/hyping people up.

I love how she says “abusing, accusing teenagers like cowards” because its so true. Instead of being ‘the adult’ and taking accountability for his part in his relationship with Olivia, Mr. Daniels just threw her under the bus like a coward. Especially with the fact that this is so true even in society

This exactly sums up the generational mistake of adults blaming the younger ones for current social problems.

FACTS! He's especially even more at fault since he's the adult and teacher, while Olivia is the teenager and student. Honestly, out of all the characters Olivia is the perfect one to take the lead in this musical number.
I just caught that they all give the finger to the teachers at the end. This show has so much going on that you have to watch it more than once to catch everything. Brilliant!
This is easily one of my two favorite songs so far (the other being "I Want More"), Cheyenne absolutely slays on these lead vocals.

A brilliant Grease bleachers dance. The peaks on this show, like this number, are totally exhilarating.
One word: Badasses😏
The episodes and songs get better and better!! Love this show!💜
I’m obsessed with the choreography starting 2:33
Best song and performance on this show, so much fun! That dancing is everything.
This show is a good show I mean like it can show what teenagers go though in high school and the fact that they had brought it down like come on now it is such a great show.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cheyenne kills this!!!!!!!!! Paramount how could you cancel and remove this!! You did not even give it a chance!

And on top of that they canceled it just when Grease 1 was being connected whit this I mean, at the end a person appears (who is barely visible) and Gil says his name is Frankie, but everyone calls him... and he can't say the phrase because Jane interrupts him and yells "Zuko!" That's why there are people who say that it could be Danny's older brother. And I include myself because… Who else would have the last name Zuko? Plus, Susan wasn't being so mean anymore. She might find herself becoming friends with Jane, or even continuing to be "bad," but not to that extent.
I loved the ending every time I watch this episode. 🤣🤣
This is my Favorite song on the show so far.
This has been my favorite song so far❤
Loved this show showed the kind of diversity we need more than ever in this world and with no effort what so ever
*wakes up to this song in my head*

I love this show. :)
My poor teenage heart woke up as Olivia sings. I'll miss her. Season 2 could've delved into her and Gil. Or shook things up and gave her a girlfriend. Then Cynthia and Lydia would have allies.
This show is better than Riverdale 😅

Also 2:30 - 2:45 is like the absolute best part of this entire song, and I just can't get enough of it
One word Epic 2:45
That was amazing
So sad they cancelled the show
This makes me think of what's going on in society right now....
BRING IT BACCKKKKK
Did anyone notice that each of the four T-Birds are basically doing a different dance move, particularly around 0:55. They're going from left to right all at the same time as Olivia, but each doing different hand or arm movements.
This song is so fun, I miss the show.
😍🤩
Shoutout to Dot and Rosemary’s end pose
This stuff still happens today
Yes Cheyenne vocals is just like Ariana DeBose from the West Side Story
2:50 I mean you can't put the whole school into detention or suspend the whole school
How did the Titans feel about the visitors from Rydell High demonstrating at their home field? It doesn't make sense for the Rydell students to air their grievances away from home, unless some of the Titans students listened in and got inspired to start a similar movement at their own school. It would have looked better for the Rydell students to march on their own track; artificial tracks like the Titans had did not become a thing until the 60's.

The songs sound way too modern to be set in the 50’s.

That was actually a conscious choice. They decided to use music styles that helped tell the story better, rather than be limited to just 50's.

I know! So unrealistic! Also that they are always singing in the show, like, why do they keep singing out of no where. No one does that in real life! Its almost like its a fictional show! 😂 But in all seriousness I've seen this kinda comment a few times now and it just confuses me? It's not a historic documentary or serious drama. It doesn't need to be extremely accurate because its not realistic anyway. It's like complaining that all Hamilton songs should be classically composed and opera rather than rap and "pop-y" songs because its not accurate for the time.
I like the show but I'm not FEELING it yet. The songs are not that memorable I'll say it. I'm waiting for that one song to really catch me to really make me love the show and I haven't seen it yet
