It was probably an emotional moment for the cast

Beca couldn’t leave her sisters out of one last performance and having them on stage together meant a lot to her. This scene meant something special to each of the cast and seeing them hugging each other one last time before saying, I’m presuming, “see you later” speaks volumes, even if it’s over video calls or something.

Billy Breeze that’s wrong. That’s EXACTLY what she is saying. She IS giving them Up for a solo career but she will never give up their friendships or forget them for all they have done for her. It’s why the end pose is so monumental.... the Bellas in the background and she is up front all alone.. they are letting her go and she is flying the nest and doing her own thing. They are giving her their blessing by signing this song!

You may be correct but I always thought that she was giving them up for a solo career. Obviously they are staying as best friends and may still sing together just for fun but I think that’s why she pulled them up onto the stage so that she could share her last performance with them. I think that’s why she sang the song freedom? Good point though 👍 x

I literally tear up every time she says “I won’t let you down” and then at the end, you can see Rebel Wilson (Amy) basically crying because they have come so far together in three movies. They’re literally a family and this song was just such a powerful way to end off the trilogy.

Probably because it was originally just Beca's solo performance? No one knew to call the other ladies up on stage but Beca herself. You can see how they were surprised when she called them up on stage. The musicians also wouldn't stop playing just for them to sing acapella unless they're given instructions to.

What I love most about this song choice is that in the earlier scene where they just got out of the water, all the Bellas recognize that they don't NEED to be together even though they're a family. And then Freedom has the line "I don't belong to you/ and you don't belong to me" as a celebration. (I cry every time.)

I love the Bellas' performances, the powerful messages they convey, how they're just like family especially with new additions to their group and their amazing friendship/loyalty to each other!! this is freaking emotional, I'm still listening to this song up until now and it's still getting me so emotional

I mean i really love the music but they already butchered the third movie. The plot was sometimes dumb and unnecessary and less would've been better. But yeah, the ending is beautiful!

The song choice is amazing!! It shows the story of Becca coming a Bella and how she was a different person on the outside and then she joined the Bella’s and became herself

Oh I remember how hard I tried to hold my tears back when I watched this in a Cinema, I was with my mom and sister. I literally cried when I rewatched this again.

When Stacey is not there. That makes me sad until now.

I just love the fact this is edited i-

she went from not wanting to join the group and wanting to pursue her dreams and it turns out that group is what led her to pursing it and now she’s finally onto bigger and better things but won’t forget where she came from

Can't believe am back here again after 7 years watching this scene once more, goosebumps all over my body. Becca (Anna Kendrick) reminded me of my good friends and family.

I wish there were like 40 of the pitch perfect movies They r the best :(

It’s remarkable song for me, time flies so fast and this one still be my fav ever 🥰

I remember my dad took me to see this in theaters when it came out when I was 10 and I loved it and I remember nearly crying during this performance The Pitch Perfect movies will forever be iconic

I will always love this clip!! Anna is amazing and with the way the story is written, she does her character proud!!

Well, not all Hollywood machinery destroys souls... Pitch Perfect is the clear example that a friendship can be forged. Those tears weren't fake. Pure feeling.

One good thing about acting in a trilogy is that you develop sister/brotherhood with cast members and the whole film crew. It must be a great life experience

No matter how many times I watch this I still get super emotional near the end. The end of an era with these movies. I miss them so much

years past and I still get goosebumps whenever I watch this! I remember begging my mom to watch this in theaters 😭😭

I learned how to sing with confidence because of this movie
