Can you share more details about room requirements for the test? Is it okay if the room has mirrors and cupboards?

Hello . This was so helpful! I have scheduled my test and also installed the ETS software. Now is there anything else I need to do before the test day which is roughly in 10 days? Will ProctorU start the test automatically?

1) Can't cheat :: mostly depends on proctor. 2) difficulty is similar. 3) booking :: first pay the amount then proctor will mail the dates available. 4) number of slots are many 5) documents :: photo valid ID while exam. 6) system requirements :: in the description. 7) authentication :: 360 degree verification to check any malpractice, on screen security, AI + proctor. 8) we can talk to proctor but can't see them, chat option (during test) 9) if you lose connection :: reauthentication 10) tech glitches :: there is tech support 11) sitting on same place 4+ hrs 😭🤦🤦 12) breaks :: can't leave seat, but can after 3 section can take a 10 min break ... But re authentication 🤦 13) there is experimental section 14) once you end test you get score 🤘 15) after test erase the white board. 16) white board or transparent sheet for rough work :: (need to practice) 17) eye tracking for checking, sending video of the university. 🤯 18) MS is a good option ✌️

If there is any technical glitch where you lose connectivity or power cut, you can contact your Procter via Chat then call ProctorU at 1-855-772-8678 for assistance

As per the revised guidelines we can use a Mac computer or laptop with Windows OS installed.

What about system requirements?

Let us hope that we don't face such trouble. ETS also provides remote technical support and we can be sure that the Proctor will guide us if any such issues occur. They have taken adequate steps to ensure to give us a good test experience. If you are not able to contact your Procter via Chat then call ProctorU at 1-855-772-8678 for assistance.

yes you can. Call up ETS helpline, India and they will assist you with it. I got mine done

It says that my ears should be visible, and I wear a head cover (Hijab) is that a problem?

There are no strict rules on that, we would suggest you confirm it with ETS by contacting them.

Hey, It did feel weird for us also, but it is to ensure authenticity due to which ETS has given these guidelines. Practice enough using the whiteboard and marker, we are sure you'll find it very comfortable.

He said the id which he used is driving license, is passport not mandotory for gre at home? I want to take the test at home but my passport is at a different place.

You need a photo identity card for verification, Mr Uday used his driving license for the same.

Using more than one transparent sheet would be really helpful. You won't lose time in erasing the transparent sheet

Yes, you can very well use more than one transparent sheet. However, at the end of the test you should erase all the sheets before the Procter, only then the test will end.

And if we face any connectivity issue and resume the test after we clear the issues, till then, will they hold the test or will it be consuming the time of our test in the back?

Hi Vasudha, As per ETS guidelines, we can't use a white book and a pen. Mr Uday used a transparent sheet and an erasable marker during his GRE at Home. If you practice enough using the whiteboard and marker, we are sure you'll find it very comfortable.

@@vasudhapasumarthi5959 you use OHP sheets and marker or a small whiteboard and erasable marker. They'll be available in stationery shops.

@@rahulbose400 Hey man! I recieved my scores about a week back (35 days after the test). This was possible only when I called on their support line and inquired about why my scores were not available. I suggest you do that. You will have to be patient as they will keep you on hold for about 20 mins and then transfer from one person to other, and the lady was extremely rude but the job was done. Try calling them and informing that you haven't recieved your scores.

What happens if the internet is disrupted in the middle of a section? Do you have to 1. Redo the section. 2. Redo the exam. Or will the whole test get cancelled?
