@@ramiroacosta9333 well, that’s not quite how it works. The amp doesn’t handle anything from the speakers. It’s the other way around. These speakers are overrated, as this amp is plenty of power for them and doesn’t put out anywhere near 300watts RMS per channel.

@@alexloeragallos typical midrange speakers are not great for a true full range of sound. They don’t tolerate the lower frequencies (150hz and below) very well, and can blow or distort if you try and play those frequencies. This tolerance does improve if you go with a larger speaker like an 8” or 10”. If you are wanting a single 6.5 speaker that handles a more full range of sound, like 80-100hz and up, then you want a more traditional coaxial or component setup.

@@alexloeragallos it really depends on what your goals are. A good pair of 6x9 coaxials should be a great place to start for a factory replacement. To run mids, tweeters exc, you need crossovers and the build becomes much more complicated.

@@alexloeragallos you do not need it. I simply use it as an external crossover. I have the front speakers crossed at 220hz and the rear at 150hz HPF. How many pre-amp RCA outputs does you head unit have? If it has front and rear channels then all you will need is to run 4 channel RCAs to your amp. If your head unit only has two, then those are likely meant for a subwoofer and you will need a high-low level converter to send a signal to your amp. The speakers themselves have a bass blocker for the tweeter/horn and then a single + and - terminal to connect to the speaker wires coming from the amp.
