I know this was like 2 years ago, but it came out great and I love your attitude! MY hair is kinda long now and I'm terrified to cut it and regret it. I never used to be like that when I rocked shorter styles! I was always excited, NOT scared, and like you I knew that as long as it's even, I could make it look great. My motto was "It's just hair! It grows back!" Anyway, WTG! XO

Nice! But when you cut little triangles instead of cutting a massive straight line, you get softer layers, and more texture in your hair;-)

I love ur attitude about hair- my hair is down to my butt &natural but when I go to the salon I hv to CONVINCE them to cut it bc they always say "oh no, it's so long &it's virgin.I'm not cutting it you'll regret it" so annoying. I'll be trying this at home .thanks &u look great. (I think I'll point cut tho for softer effects)

Molly's Lips💋💋 you’re so sweet thank you!💕 yeah is just hair it will grow back, our hair long, short it doesn’t define who we are as a person that’s what I believe in and that’s so annoying it’s your decision weather you want your hair long or short they should respect that. That’s how it is for me when I go to the salon and I want my hair died blonde they won’t do it because they say it will get damaged so I do it all myself at home and it actually comes out really nice. @@erikaesquivel4154 absolutely no problem love .I rmbr when I was a teenager, I come from a big family &bc we didn't hv tons of money my mother would never be able to afford to go get her hair coloured&then rootm touch ups as it grew so I became the in house "hairdresser" we'd buy just 1 box dye of platinum blonde &I'd put it in for her then wait 20 mins before washing it & cut it while wet .then once we blow dried it her hair would be super platinum shining blonde bc with her natural hair being so blonde anyway all she needed was the 1 box dye. She'd be delighted with it &looked as if she went to the salon. So then all my sisters, cousins, aunties, friends etc would come to me for all their hair dying ,cutting, highlighting etc (&brow tweezing) 1 of my aunties used to say "u should charge for this" .getting bck to ur comment though yeah its really frustrating I'm a grown woman its my hair they shouldn't say "oh no but it's so long&natural " etc, I know who what hair I hv. I definitely will be trying this cut but not quite as short so thank you so very much for posting ur experience. I think at the end u hv that Marilyn Monroe look going on its super sophisticated &cute at the same time.

Cynthia Phelan I have thin curly hair but I did straighten it and then curled my hair afterwards I think it could also work for your hair as well!💕

self cut ist so easy:-) I do it with long straight hair which is all the same length, deviding it into 2 sides, combing it down to forward besides the face, looking a bit up, fixing both sides together with a rubber under the chin and then cutting straightaway under the rubber with a cutting machine, that´s perfect!

Layers are gradual so there isn't a number of layers. They either start shorter at the top or long ones are all towards the bottom of your hair. Source: am hairstylist :)

You seem sweet. But this honestly needs to be a part of some cringe compilation... and those curls in the end made you look like a 50 year old. You have a pretty face and yes hair shouldn't define us but longer hair would suit you so much better :)
