Why would he be afraid to say he’s a Hindu. If people are proud of his origin and that he’s claiming to be a hindu, in that case, all Indians should also be grateful to Britain for providing opportunities to other ethnic minorities even though Indian Britons are one of the largest communities there from the Indian diaspora. That’s where the hypocrisy comes out. Half of the Indians were happy when the queen died when they had nothing to do with the country or the royal family but went straight back to a history they haven’t seen. Some of them are rejoicing thinking life’s come to a full circle because an Indian origin (for those who think so) British man is now PM. Would India ever be able to accept people from other ethnic groups as their leaders? Never in the past and nothing has changed so far. There’s a lot of hate and hypocrisy in this country

While the Palki Sharma will definitely be missed as the Host of Gravitas and Priyanka Sharma is also doing an excellent job, the script is pretty underrated as it's always so crystal clear and well paced. While I am not aware of the reporting process, if it is such that there is a writing and editing team behind the scenes handling the script other than the host, I hope that they too are mentioned in the description as the credit is well deserved. Ideally, presentars are the main writer of the story when they are off line. This way, they are telling story of information that they have written, it requires less prompting or dependece of teleprompter. The written story goes on the website. Research and Writing makes a good reporter.

let's hope he is what he appears to be I believe he will have the support of most. In my ignorance i apear rude, but will the Pm try to abolish the beef industry and... Is the cast system inherent and essential to Hinduism? Also does it have many interpretations as most other old religions?, what is the inference of worshiping a cow ? .At a christian I worship Jesus as creator and perfect savior to name but two of his attributes .However I imagine worshiping a cow is a very different thing and I am in the dark as to its significance . I have very favourable irrelavant, romantic associations with India having read books by Jim Corbett who took his life in his hands saving the lives of many rural dwellers tracking and shooting maneating tigers ,also I read Kipling's jungle book. Now India is one of the words fastest growing economies , wow! That it needs saving. The solidification happened by the Britishers who didn't understand how the "Varn" (not caste) system worked. Varn system is just a way of categorising people on the basis of the work they do. Like academicians, Military, Entertainers - these are categories. Sometimes, the offsprings join in their parents/ancestors field too & it may continue for several generations. So they gain repute in that field. Varn system was a natural organic way. Yes, there were some who became arrogant and demanded that respect because of who they have been, either in their generation or for several generations. This is visible even in the white people's world of today. It comes from merit of knowing your subject. I'm not saying it's right. But it's that ego which is common to people across the world even today. But you know what, it worsened because Britishers & even Islamic rulers fixed it in the official books. They made it worse. & The arrogance of those given higher castes worsened coz of higher positions given to such people in the Raj.

He didn’t get there on merit. He was the least favourite option of the electorate. He was placed there un-democratically because he is compliant to the global elite. Suella Braveman or Kemi Badenoch we’re both preferred way above Sunak. And both are more robust and courageous in leadership positions than the empty suit he’s demonstrated he is.

A Prime Minister cannot decide everything on his own and nor a Finance Minister or a Chancellor for that matter. You need to crucify somebody then go ahead with crucifying the people who voted and the leaders who lead the campaign on having Brexit because the real problem lies in there. That is what lead to the current situation.

As an Austrian I would say, PM Rishi Sunak is of Indian origin but looks very British and has British charm which is pleasant. He's a financial expert and is protected from corruption because of his wealth. A good choice for the UK, I think.

An ominous sign of how Rishi intends to govern is his statement about Liz Truss that she had the right ideas but she wasn't up to the job. Rishi is very likely to last much longer than Truss, but in do doing do a lot more damage to England. We'll just have to see, but I'm not hopeful.

hi i am from england and i could not give a dam. he was not voted in, his wife dose not pay tax in the uk. no prime minister has never done anything for me, i am sick of it all, past caring, , roll on the next one, i will still pay more tax and get less
