Wade! I have to tell you how much of a blessing you have been to me. Seriously!!! I have always played in a praise band, but ever since Covid, I've been leading worship all by myself. I could NOT do it without your shared talent, videos, and prayers for me as a student. I have learned almost all of your tutorials. You have simplified things for me, but in a way where I still have the liberty to play dynamically. Thank you so very much for listening to the calling to help others. You are a blessing!!

I took lessons as a child and absolutely hated learning classical music which is what my piano instructor focused on. I put the piano away, fast forward many years and I had a major conversion of faith! I just got a piano and am now learning worship music. I just found your channel and am so blessed! Love this tutorial Could you explain in the pro part how the thumb plays those extra bits. In 1 6/8 bar how many times would the thumb play and on what part of the beat?

Thanks Wade, amazing teaching but I find playing B in its 1st Inversion (pinky on B and thumb and Index on C# and F# respectively) is easier for me cos E slides easily in its natural position.
