Heard this song for the first time in bootcamp at Parris Island. Helped me get through training, take it chow by chow. And sundays helped the most knowing we had 2 hours of church service and away from the drill instructors.

Alpha 1006 - graduated 2 days ago. I always felt so encouraged when they played this and was reminded that no matter what happened on or off the island, God was always looking over it and keeping it all according to his plan

I was at Parris island for about 3 months for recruit training. When we went to church on Sundays this song would be the song everyone enjoyed. Everyone sang this song. We even broke the bleachers when stomping to the rhythm. Good times☺️☺️

I’m a old truck driver who was in a bad truck accident back in aug 2019 I should of died. It was my fault I was legally park. But if I hadn’t parked there the other driver would of hit the toll booth and I know the person in the toll booth would of been killed he hit me doing 70mph. I’m the only one who got hurt the other driver walk away from the accident. Now I have this incredible calling now to follow the lord. I’ve even bought a bible and I’ve read over half so far. But I love this song. I keep praying every day to get my body better so I can start going to church. But I have to go Thur a back surgery and both shoulders before I can find a place to worship. I love this song

TheBibleWithTina thank you. Well I got me a bible the middle of may and I’ve almost read it all already. I had my back surgery in aug it was a rough surgery. I ended up spending two weeks in the hospital instead of three days. I almost passed away from it. I kept having visions at nighttime and the pain was really bad for about a week. I dreamed one night or had a vision in that vision I was told all this pain I was in is to show me what it’s like not to have Jesus Christ in my life. The next night I seen a lady come in my room and she said tomorrow you will be out of your pain and that’s what it’s like to have Jesus Christ in your life. Well the next morning I woke up and all my pain was gone. The same nurses were on duty the same night and whenever I ask who the lady was that came in my room the night before and they told me there was no lady on the floor that late or by that description. Three days later I was released to go home. Now in couple weeks I get to start on my shoulders surgery

But I was gonna retire when I hit 70 in 10 years anyway just a early retirement. So now I’m learning the Bible and I’m trying to follow Jesus Christ and learning to play the guitar at my old age. Lol

There's nothing better than our Magnificent, omniscient, omnipotent, God. He is greater than our situation right now. He is greater than covid-19. Lord, heal our land oh God.
