Ben Affleck played George Reeves in the movie Hollywood Land. So he has played Batman and Superman .

The stain glass windows and 🎨 artistry was amazing at this place! George was an inconic actor- never knew he was in gone with the wind! He had a sad mysterious demise I believe/ great vlog Jordan 👏👍😎

Read somewhere that George had a photographic memory.
That's a beautiful mausoleum. There aren't many like that.
I grew up watching George Reeves as Superman. One closed "vlog door" is just another opportunity to do another great vlog. Thanks for keeping it interesting every day Jordan. I know that's not always easy!
Thanks for going out in a horrible rain storm Jordan. I really appreciate it:)
Very cool Jordan. Rod Serling was born, and died, in my hometown of Rochester New York. He came in the Rascal Cafe in Rochester once when I was working there.

Great vlog, great burger, great artwork, rubbish weather, really enjoyed that Jordan Thankyou x
Fun Fact: if Jordan was deep in snow on the east coast now, he would find a way to break the ice and melt his way to somewhere he had never been so we would get to see something we may never see for ourselves in our lifetime: and THAT is exactly why we love him !!
Reeves, Desmond Taylor, black dahlia, we’ll probably never find out, sad

Steven Spielberg directed the Joan Crawford episode.
I must say I thought Afflecks portrayal of Reeves in Hollywoodland was probably Afflecks best acting he’s done.
Great vlog! I love Superman!
I never missed Superman when I was young.
Awsome thanka for sharing hadn’t seen this blog, hugs!!
Altadena my old stomping grounds. I use to live right up the street from Jim's. I loved going there as soon as kid, there chilli cheese dogs are the bomb to, oh and there Fry's. Thanks Jordan for visiting my old neighborhood.
Getting a look at so many of the Night Gallery paintings.. Too cool! Im amazed that so many of them still exist. For me, the art was a bonus that kept me tuning in. It had and still continues to have a powerful attraction that I cant quite explain. Thankyou for not giving up or giving in!
The movie 'HollywoodLand' did a great job showing the George Reeves/ Superman story.
The first T.V. show I saw when my father brought home the first T.V. in the neighborhood.
One of my favorite George reeves! His old tv superman stayed true to the DC comics But the superman movies 🎥 were 😎 cool in their right👍classic superman!
Loved Night Gallery. I thought this was great. Thanks for braving the weather and going with the flow. 👍❤
Awesome vlog Jordan!
Very cool vlog! I love how you really "bring us along", and make adjustments for the flow of the day. Super interesting content... again! 👌
It’s a bummer that. Couldn’t film the twilight zone but seeing Superman George Reeves finally resting spot was wonderful I did like the stain glass there 👍
I always adored George Reeves!!
I have an older brother who always had to watch this kind of TV. Twilight Zone, Outer Limits so when Night Gallery came on we had to watch that too! As a kid some of that stuff scared the bejeezus out of me but I still watched! Really sad about George Reeves at the end of his life. Yesterday Kiss was on the Price Is Right! Some guy won not only tickets, a back stage pass and all access, but will be flying and staying in Detroit before coming back to LA. Of course he was jumping up and down!

Jana Deubner, my older brother did the same thing to us? ....lol
Thanks for sharing. Awesome vlog.
Jah looked so comfy and warm on a rainy day. It was neat seeing all the details up-close of the original Night Gallery artwork. I’m so glad they saved the art, very expressive and moody. Such an interesting and unique setting for art. The mausoleum and chapel are very beautiful, especially the ocular window and the painted ceiling. Too bad about the Twilight Zone memorabilia. I agree they should have had the notice of no photography on the website. The whole situation surrounding George Reeves death is suspicious...very sad for his family. He played the Tarleton brothers in Gone with the Wind, if I remember correctly. That hot dog looked so good. What a fantastic vlog!
Huge fan of Superman!! Another great vlog Jordan!!
Thank you very much for going out in the rain for us Jordan, this vlog is just amazing, the art work....everything. I am very grateful. Cuddles for Jah
Thank you Jordan, have a great day!
Love George ‘s little house on Benedict canyon
Great video! You do a great job :)
You are such a pro that no matter what you do is always interesting, thanks Jordan.
Love the art and a neat vlog at that.😎✨✨✨
Your vlog went by "faster than a speeding bullet"------enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks for your dedication-----even in all the rain!
It's all good Jordan..... I think the vlog still entertained, and included some details about George Reeves I was not aware of. In terms of Rod Serling, I still really enjoyed the art work, and because I was such a huge fan of Night Gallery, I recognized a fair amount of those pieces, notably that of Joan Crawford for sure. Even with having to roll with it Jordan, you still absolutely never disappoint my friend. Thanks again Jordan. I'll catch you on the next vlog. Arthur Childs, Oak Harbor, WA. 🙂
Great one, Jordan Always something interesting.
Great stuff! enjoyed vlog in spite of not having Twilight Zone.
Hello from Northern Ohio Enjoy your channel always fun and interesting I also enjoyed your interview on Porschelife111. Very informative.
Hello Jordan. Nice job pulling this vlog out of the fail Not all was lost and I enjoyed watching as always!
Great Vlog!!
You did great, thinking on your feet!!! Love the work!!! Keep on!!!
Wow original art work from the Night Gallery! I recognised many of them. It's too bad Rod Serling didn't have more control of that series. I'm sure it would have lasted longer than 2 years It's to bad about the Twilight Zone memorabilia. I would have really liked to have seen it. TZ is my all time favorite show. Oh and George Reeves. Sad situation there. Take care everyone! Hope the rain stops soon for you and Jah!

Rod Serling hated Night Gallery, and resented being forced to host the show due to contractural obligations. He neither wrote nor produced any of the episodes, as he did with The Twilight Zone.

Yes Greg isn't that sad? I think he originally wanted it that way because TZ took such a toll on him and he didn't want the responsibility. But he realized afterward that his name was on it and everyone assumed it was his work. Must have been very hard on him. The really sad part of it is we would loose him just two years later.

I just saw 2 of the episodes today; that was in the paintings! The one with the wicked doll and the one where the painter had the monster, in his basement; who was snatching women! Old re-runs still.come on Cable!
STELLAR Vlog as always! Sorry about the Twilight Zone mess but hey life gave ya lemons and ya made lemonade with a great look at the art work and a visit to George Reeves grave! Sad story George Reeves.
I love that theme song with the little dog walking☺😄😄
Hi Jordan! Neat to see the paintings from The Night Gallery! I grew up watching that show. Sad and interesting to learn about George Reeves. I had always heard his death was by suicide, but didn’t know that possible foul play may have taken place. Take care! 🦁
Great video Jordan.
I love the art.Thank you for taking me alone on your journeys Jordan you rock ❤️
Awesome and CREEPY!!! Luv it!!!
What a let down no cameras. I think George was murdered. That hot dog looked amazing. Australia doesn't have hot dogs with all the toppings. I'm hungry now

If you ever come to the US, go to Chicago and get one. The best. Natural casing and on the griddle makes it snap. Pickle, hot peppers, onion, and yellow mustard. Not brown mustard.

@@MICHELLE-gu2qc I actually made hamburgers and hotdogs last night on the grill (barbi for you lol). I have family in Perth and my aunts and grandparents went to visit and brought back some things. One of them was Vegemite. My cousin tried it and went Vegemite crazy and started putting it on sandwiches and anything he could justify putting it on lol. He goes online and orders it because we don't have it at most grocery stores here.

@@MICHELLE-gu2qc I love cajun food. New Orleans is great for food. Jambalaya, gumbo, po boy sandwiches, etc. The U.S. is good for food because every region has its own cuisine.
Enjoyable vlog, Jordan. Grew up watching Superman and I remember hearing about it on the news when it happened. Sad.
GREAT VLOG!!!!!
🇺🇸 Thank You.! I Love your Shows. 😊👍🏼
Beautiful mausoleum, Night Gallery set paintings very cool if not unnerving.. Loved the show albeit I watched with the lights on.😀 Yay Jah!!!

We sure have been getting so much Rain!! I know we need this rain, but so many mud slides!! Superman the Man of Steel!!!
The art work was great ! hope you did not get too wet in all that rain Jordan . Thank you !
i used to get letters from Christopher Reeve before he past away. one of my cosuin best friends used to work for Christopher Reeve and she used to type letters from him. in other words he would tell her what to say and she will type it for him.
Well they don't all go how you want but it was still pretty cool. A friend of mine was really good friends with Rod Serling and the death of George Reeves has always intrigued me. Better rain than fires in CA. Great vlog 👍
Great job, good but sad story.I didn't know he was in Gone With The Wind..
Expecting some old mold covered marble small building. Wasn't ready for this.Indeed those new tires and brakes, big difference. So stay safe on the roads to all your adventures.
Poor George what a life. WOW that looked yummy !!
Great .thank u

Thank you Jordan for this vlog on Superman, I had asked you to do this one months ago,I really wanted to see the house where he was killed,I hope you can vlog that one day if the house is in California, but I really did enjoy this vlog, you're the best at what you do ! 😊
Jah❤❤❤❤. Little lovebug. The first place was fantastic. I love all the artwork. Twilight Zone and Night Gallery were my favorites. The George Reeves story is so sad. It's sad that they never finished investigating the murder. Thank you Jordan. Be safe. Much love to you and Jah ❤❤❤❤❤
Enjoy the video very much thanks
Always come up with great things, Jordan. What a beautiful mausoleum that first one is. I used to watch Superman as a child and do remember that George Reeves was in GWTW. Always wondered about his death. Weren’t there other people in the house that night? You think someone would have leaked something through the years. It always seemed like murder.
Jordan, you are really the best! You ventured out on a glooming, spooky and pouring raining day; to give us amazing footage! I just watched 2 episodes of Night Gallery, that the paintings showed! Excellent footage! Also we all knew that George Reeves was murdered! His married mistress had him killed because she was mad that he was marrying someone else! Per her request, Manix; fixed it! "Faster than a speeding bullet; but he could not avoid his death, in his own house; upstairs, while a party was going on down stairs! 😥
Wow, love the paintings! Any idea if they will still be there in June?

Jordan I hope you have a better day for your next vlog .... George Reeves great superman but it was sad the way he died
Thanks for vlogging my Superman. Never knew his last name was initially Bessolo.
Rod Serling The Creator of The Twilight Zone Is From My Home Town Binghamton ,Ny 🙂
At 2.58 it reminded me of the film Phantasm :)
I'm surprised you got the footage you did get! Last time I was there, they made me put my camera away before I even got out of the car! Cool video nonetheless!
He was also in from Here To Eternity.
I was a Nick at Night kid too!
I still enjoyed seeing the Night Gallery paintings. I can name the episode on many of them.
Love Superman! WOW, what a sandwich at Jim's.
Nice video, but there was no Twilight Zone exhibit, as far as I know. I believe the memorabilia you were not able to show was all from Night Gallery, Serling's later show. Each episode began with one of those paintings, all done by the same artist. The Joan Crawford is especially significant because it was from the pilot. Thanks for braving the rain!!!
It was still a good vlog! You need a WV hot 🐕! Chili and sweet Cole slaw! George so handsome in GWTW! My Superman. Thx for going out in storm!😘😎
Rod Sterling spent a lot of time in his home state central NY. He actually owned a home on Cayuga lake that was directly across the lake from my Uncles marina. He was also know to buy suits from a men's high end clothing store in Auburn. The store was up the street from the prison. I think it was something like Hummels. The store was still open in the 70s and early 90s. There are episodes that feature the towns from the southern tier of NY. One took place in a bus or train station. It's neat that he stayed close to home and didnt move to Hollywood. George Reeves was only 45 when he died? They must have lived fast and hard in Hollywood in the old days
Ive read, that they were getting ready to put Superman back in production, and he was excited to go back to work, so yea I doubt suicide
Thanks for your efforts in the downpour. Sad about George Reeves. Another unsolved mystery as far as I'm concerned. Belinda
There was a lot to the George Reeves story.Have you ever seen the movie,I believe it had,oh hell I cant remember his name now Ben Affleck thats it. Hollywoodland...covers the whole thing. I used to have it on DVD. Its a good movie, you should check it out sometime if you get a chance.

There is a website called The Adventures Continue that is a tribute to George Reeves the man. It has a lot of interesting information and pictures. There also are photos of the house at 1579 Benedict Canyon Drive that was purchased for him by Toni Mannix. There are pictures of the outside and interior of the house including the upstairs bedroom where he mysteriously died. It remains controversial to this day.
