It is so good to see that there are still people like you that cares about their job, and has respect for others.
Very few people realize how much time and effort it takes to set all that equipment up. Thank you for what you do. 👍

@@RadioRich100 I agree, it's a racket. The whole funeral business is nothing but a money-making scam that preys on the grieving. By law, they must tell you that you don't have to be embalmed or even buy one of their caskets or urns. Also by law, the funeral home has to accept caskets and urns bought elsewhere. So you don't have to purchase their outrageously overpriced products. You can even make your own casket or purchase coffin or urn online at Walmart, Costco, or on Amazon at a discount price. Heck, you don't even have to have a funeral, if you don't want to. You also have the option to bring your loved one home and stay with you for days. Another thing a lot of people don't know, is that if you have family owned property, your loved one can most likely be buried on your own land. Each state, county, and city has different laws regarding that so it's always good to check into it. The funeral industry most likely won't volunteer this information though, because they want to con you out of your money and get rich during your time of need. But, if you ask them about it, they are legally obligated to tell you the truth about what other options you have. I feel they are nothing but a bunch of scoundrels preying on the bereaved. So please don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of.

@RadioRich100 I worked in the funeral business for 11 years. The vaults nowadays cost $600.00 to $1200.00 depending on what kind of inside liner you want and what particular vault you want. As far as all of the setup you saw in the video and the tear down there is no charge for that.

Don't know why the KZread algorithm thought I needed to see this but I'm so glad. Always wondered how this process worked. Thank you for your very informative video.

You are obviously a man who takes great pride in your work and it shows in this video. Thank you for all the attention to detail.
It's an honor to see someone who cares so deeply about their job, and does it so well. Thank you for cleaning the veteran headstones when you have time to do so.
My cousin owned and operated a funeral home and vault company and he made absolutely sure that everything was perfect, very much like Austin has shown us here. I appreciate him sharing how he is so extremely careful and respectful. It is a long process from start to finish and his work is impeccable. Thank you for sharing 🌸 and my condolences to the family of the deceased. 😔🌹
You go beyond and above any grave side services that I have ever witnessed in sixty five years.
I am one of those people who stays at the burial till the vault is lowered into the grave. I’m usually the last person to walk away at a funeral. I really appreciate the care you provide during such a sad time.

You do an amazing job explaining this and with such respect! Your videos are so touching, especially the choice of music. The reassurance of knowing that your family member has been taken care of with honor and respect is priceless.
my mom died 3 years ago (7/22/21) and while the funeral home is very well kept and very nice, i don't see people scrubbing headstones with this much care. at all. Thank you for your service and i hope other vaultmen see this and take inspiration to make every grave special and well cared for.
Thank You for your service in caring for veteran graves and baby graves.... That is a sign of respect and selfless love.... May our Heavenly Father bless you and shower down his blessing upon you forever and ever.... Amen.....

@@dennisneo1608 He DONATES his FREE time to clean Babies & Veteran's graves, I think you missed that part!
I worked as a vault setter for Wilbert (Alexander, AR) in 2018. When my dad died, the owners gave him a free Monticello vault and let me paint it and decorate the top with a crest and his nameplate. They even let me set his vault, took me to the funeral home for his service, and paid me to perform his burial after riding back to the cemetery in the family car. They are a great company to work for, and I am grateful for the experience. ❤️🙏🏻
This is, without a doubt the MOST THOUROUGH and COMPLETE presentation of this process. This video could easily be offered as an ethics training video for the industry. OUTSTANDING job!
As someone that works in the cemetery world I appreciate what you are doing here. There is a ton of misinformation about what we do and how it’s done. And you do it in a way that doesn’t make death care employees look like the Addams Family. Oddly enough we use Wilbert a ton in my area in IL.
So informative and educational. I also love how respectful you are, and it certainly shows you truly care about your work and these families.
The guy who dug my mom’s grave was happy to tell me all about it when I stopped by to see it. The day of the burial the vault guy was very happy to let me watch my mom’s casket lower into the vault and showed me how it sits on a lip to let water flow underneath the casket. I’m so thankful for what you all do. Made a sad day better because my mom was buried without a hitch.
Thank you for being so professional and respectful of the job you do. And thanks for sharing your videos.
My grandfather owned the vault company. It crews co. In Totowa, New Jersey. Until he passed away in 1987 I was in high school. It’s now called Wilbert crews based in Wayne New Jersey, this video gave me Manny flashbacks to my days playing in the sand pits in the yard. My grandfather made a live in selling vaults air condition, stairs, and bumper guards for parking lots.
That Harry Potter story you shared had me in tears. Fellow nerd here and your pride and care in your work is incredible. I'm glad someone like you is in this field.
What professionalism this man displays in his work. From making sure everything is perfect. to the marker cleanings, and to the respect the families deserve at the time. Great job!!!
I didn't think I would make it through the video but I did teary eyed the entire time I hope all vaultmen are respectful and dedicated to the grieving family as you God bless you
God bless you. The care you have taken and doing all that work by yourself is amazing.
Austin Great Job explaining your job and being truly empathic - Professional ✅✅✅
Thank you Sir for everything you do. May God always provide for you and protects you. Thank you🙏🏻🇺🇸
Wow who'd have thunk it, all of this from a video about "a day in the life of a Vaultman". How in the world could a KZread video be so satisfying and moving, as well? I see Hard work, dedication, attention to detail, respect, reverence and empathy for the departed and their families in every move you make. Even the tone of your voice on the voiceover portion of this video is measured and professionally respectful. I see a good man in SO many ways. I'm grateful that there are still people in the world like you sir. I am deeply proud of you and can envision that you are very likely also, a good son, husband and father. GOD BLESS YOU and yours. Thank you for this glimpse into the day of a GREAT MAN!
Watching your dedication and professionalism makes me want to go back to the funeral services thank you for serving the family’s Austin I hope nothing but good things come your way

As a veteran, I thank you for the time and care you give to the markers of my brothers and sisters. As a human being, I thank you for putting so much care into the setup and care of the gravesite so that it is immaculate for the family. You are a true craftsman.

I had no idea ? I’m 78 years old . What an incredible job you’re doing . To many westerns I’ve watched thru the years .
My father did this for a living working for Wilburt Burial Vaults and I respect him for all his hard work. I couldn't be more proud to watch a video. I love you, dad!~RIP
My fiancé runs 5 funeral homes and 1 cemetery here in Florida, God’s Waiting Room. I have never seen how this is done at the gravesites. Thank You 🙏
Thank you so much for this opportunity to watch your educational video on set up to cleaning and the process for each funeral service You put do much care and time into your job Remarkable effort Thanks Breni 🇦🇺
It's nice to hear and see that you care so much.Thank you. God bless.
I want to say thank you I lost my son Kevin when he was 21 and it broke my heart it's nice to know that some people still do care about people that they don't even know at the hardest time in their lives watching you video made me cry but I a good way thank you again for your love and compassion
very interesting, recently going thru my late mothers belongings I found the "50" yr. guarantee from my sisters Wilbert Monticello vault from 1973, she passed at age 20, expired in 2023.
You are so respectful most of the vault company ppl in southern Ohio are rough looking ppl. And they do not set up the vault how you do it's already in the ground at the bottom of the grave I've always wondered if the vaults seal like they should. Thank You for the information u share
I have no idea why this showed up in my feed, but it has given me a deep appreciation for an aspect of the burial process that I thought was handled completely differently. Thank you for sharing this with the world, and thank you for taking so much pride in what you do.
Sir.. Thank you for posting this. When my Dad passed away. The person that setup my Dads did a great job. I didn’t know what it took too set this up.. Edmond Clingerman was buried in North Road NY 9/17 with my mothers ashes Thank you
Thank you for showing us how everything is done with care .
Kudos to you my friend. In watching this video, it shows how much you care for the family of the deceased. The way in which you do your job and you address the even the smallest details is awesome. Keep up the good work and God bless you and your entire family. 👏🙌
I must commend you for your dedication and compassion doing a thankless job.
A heartfelt thank you for your care and dedication you give for each family member enter their eternal journey ☦️ My parents were buried in a single grave with vaults for each one. I never got to watch how they were placed inside the grave.
This made me feel so much more at peace for my beloved parents. I truly hope all people who work in this industry are as passionate, kind, and caring as you.
14 Years in the Cemetery Grounds Maintenance . Well done . You are correct about the Bronze Markers being the hardest to clean . You serve the families well and with respect Sir .
This is soooooo educational. I had no idea there was a vault that encapsulates the coffin. Great job man! Seriously!
Thank you so much for this video. It was so encouraging to hear you speak about your job. The kindness, compassion, concern and service for these individuals you show and pour into is very touching. Great job young man. I can only hope that whoever does this for me and my loved ones is as thoughtful.❤
The love you have for your sister shows in the care and pride you take in what you do.
Thank you, Sir, for putting so much care into what you do for the loved one and the family!
Who would have thought I would watch a 45 minute video about the job of a vaultman. Respect for the pride you take in this job. This was very intriguing.
Thank you SO MUCH for your Service and Attention to details. Especially in death, details do matter. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Amen!! 🙏
Mr. Austin, thank you so very much for the respect, care, and hard work that you invest in this process for every family. This is a fascinating video, in that, I have always wondered many things about the preparation of the final resting place. My parents are buried in a National Cemetery, in a wall vault, and my brother is buried in a burial plot. I was fortunate enough to meet the man who prepared my brother’s final resting place. I’m grateful for the work you all do. Thank you.
I've mowed 2 large cemeteries for over 20 years. I've seen this process hundreds of times but never realized how many steps were required. Thanks for posting.
As a funeral assistant for over 25 years, I was impressed with your presentation and thorough description.
Great video, thanks for posting.
As the family member who helps take care of the graves of my grandparents and father in law, I appreciate what you do, and thank you for your time and effort, it is appreciated beyond words of the families you help. You really take the time and effort to take care of our loved ones, and from this video, its really obvious.
You and your work are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your professionalism.
What a respectful pro. Amazing job you do and it is definitely a huge part of the burial/funeral process that goes unnoticed and under appreciated!
The unseen in society. Thank you for your work
The time and care you put into your work is very refreshing. Thank you so much for what you do for others.
Very informative! Thank you for taking the time to do it!
Thank you for this video I never knew how much went on behind the scenes. And it's a comfort knowing that my 10-month-old baby is safe . You take pride in your job and it shows Thank you for your service ❤
Thank you for your skill and having such a kind heart for families and friends.
At my mother-in-laws burial the guy in charge of this process was doing his very first. He messed it up and the casket ended up at a thirty to forty percent angle while entering the vault. Undoubtedly she slid and it messed up her hair. This was very well done, professional and informative. Thank you, sincerely.
I enjoyed watching this video. I appreciate the respect and care shown! Thank you good sir!
An excellent video. I love seeing how it is supposed to be done. The care, attention to detail and compassion you show is second to none. Keep up the amazing work. I have no doubt the families are very appreciative of what and how you do your job.

a man who knows AND has pride in his work.....i'd know that my loved one would be in kind, caring hands with this man. he'd be a pleasure to know just in attitude and outlook on things.

You're a good man, brother. Thank you for the video, you just gained a sub.
Wow, amazing video. Thank you. I had no odea of the work involved. Your attention to detail in the family's darkest hour is awesome. Keep doing the good work you do!
I don't know if people tell you this or not, but I really do appreciate the small touches that you do to the grave before the services.
You guys really do the hard work. I admire Wilbert Vault Service personnel.
Very Nice! Bless you for caring so much!
Well said. I worked 3 different jobs at a mortuary in the 1990’s & it was one of the funnest, most gratifying places I’ve ever worked. I’ve now been a cop for 22 years & now a coroner’s detective, & I see myself going back to a mortuary when I retire from this job. It is so satisfying helping families in their most difficult times. Cemeteries are the most peaceful parks of all & I enjoy visiting new ones when possible. It reminds me to slow down in this rat race.❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thank you for being so caring.
Thank you. I wasn't entirely sure of what was happening when I put my mom in the ground. You've filled in this missing parts, and after 11 years, made this all a little more understandable.
Well done and informative. Thank you.
