I was there!!! It was so quiet during during this song. Everyone was captivated.
Great night 15 years old on the floor Phil's side .Jerry's words split me up as a stadium floated in unison listening to the lesson he was teaching! Loved the dead before that show but was the night I really heard them only way to say it!❤
This has been my ‘walk off’ music at about 6 different companies … STILL rings true.
Yes Ship of Fools sail away from me!!! I resigned last week.
Man it breaks my heart whenever I listen to the spring and summer of 90

It's weird. My first show was my only one with Brent in May 90. But 90 is probably my favorite year. 72. 77. 89. 91
This song makes me happy to be sober...

Was just thinking the same thing. 7 years here.
I know there is an endless sea of 77 lovers ... but this is extraordinary. I was there and you could hear a pin drop as Jerry delivered this epic performance.

I love 77. But I think late 80's through 91 is the greatest dead

The Captain. We miss you Jerbear
I was there and it was amazing.
I think i was there...
Thank you for the video! This has always been my favorite version after hearing this show on a tape a friend gave me. It still give me chills. Im so glad I get to watch the guys play it now!! Makes me smile smile smile. It’s definitely the best version of the 90s and probably late 80s out there and I’ve heard a lot of em. I began to love this song and started to search for other SOF(heady version) and this one is in my top 3. Jerry’s solo is perfect. Bobby’s additions are beautiful. Drums are booming. Bliss. If you know a great SOF lmk. Remarkably, it’s the last SOF with Brent. He never got to sail on the Ship again. The band broke for summer break a few shows after this. We love you Brent🎹 Long live the DEAD!!

Wow that's amazing 🤩... I just stumbled upon it myself. I love how slow and deliberate Jerry was, with both his singing and guitar. And Brent went crazy too it was gorgeous
I love Jerry's ballads. Beautiful!
The guitar tone on this solo always gets me 🛳
Love this song for sure ☮️👌
no dire cosas sin sentido, esta cancion simplemente me encanta😿
Brent!!! Don't feel bad, we didn't even notice! Your vocals sound great - that was hilarious lol.
I was 15n1976 at the mother ship the Hampton coliseum.when I found my place.RIP J G .
This is one of the few songs that the studio version is as good as the live version
All i can think about is Brent this time of year....good choice from a great run Dave...

I’ve always thought Jerry would have made it if he hadn’t passed. We all could see how much he loved him. That was my time and it seems to me like things went downhill from that point.

Joe Blow yeah me too brother. It was such a sweet and genuine connection. I feel like that with JM and JC that you see that a lot these days which is really fun to see when they are clicking but it sure does make me miss the original pair

Everyone loved Brent but yes especially Jerry. Too bad Brent didn’t heed Jerry’s warning here, he never sailed on the Ship again after this show.
Love the weekly releases. Even if they are already released, still love it. Now bring in some late 60s early 70s stuff, Please!!

He’s laughing right before he leans over. His voice was just gone. I don’t think it was a sad moment. Bob didn’t know what was going on though.
I'm only 3 songs in and it kicks ass
Beautiful
Yup!!
Excellent!!!!

I'm far from a Dead head, but saw 'em a handful of times ; I just have a tough time nowadays to see Brent & Jerry live ; it's only occasional anyways.
I love his ballad too. Sure as shit☮️👍
Iwt. Love it.⚓⛵💀🌹⚡
Eye remember this like it was yesterday. During the middle a plane flew over the stadium bowl that transformed into a ship. The plane looked like a UFO

Happy birthday Booby
It always reminds me of those lower levels of the Titanic. And no one has the keys? Where are THE KEYS? And you locked her in the closet for how long??? There are more than me who perish here.
Do they sell the rugs they used on stage anywhere?
Seems so appropriate right now.😒
