Hey Grateful Dead admin, go to your settings on youtube studio and turn off mid roll ads, this is under the monetization tab on the left side. Jerry is rolling over in his Grave. It's not your fault, youtube added mid roll adds to all videos now as of august 2020, Please turn this setting off, we can handle the commercial at the beginning or end but not mid roll. It kills the vibe

When Jerry’s face was covered in shadow, but you could make out the crows feet on the sides of his eyes you knew he was smilin. And with that smile you knew everything was gonna be just fine, no matter where your trip was headed. Jerry bled the light. He was the beacon that steered your trip. God bless ya big guy. You are so, SO missed.💀⚡️🌹

Jerry makes it look soooo easy. He never gets those intense and screwed up kind of expressions that so many lead guitarists do. Nothing wrong with them doing that at all, but it shows their intense concentration whereas Jerry's playing just seem effortless. I think it's magic.

Totally captivating. Why? Why? Why? Is it all of those pickups on Jerry's guitar getting him that fat distorted tone? Is it the visual of Micky's drums shaking? Maybe Brent's intense and far away look? Bob's concentration, deep and serious as ever? Bill's prize fighter gum chewing pattern? Maybe Phil's tone and restraint on such a delicate tune? They seem to capture the inherent ethereality of this song very well in this performance. Thank you The Grateful Dead.

Couldn't move on as long as they were my muses so I divorced them for twenty years and listened to other genres ONLY. Classical was my favorite for years, but guess what? I went back to listening to the Dead anyway..never get them OUT of my soul~

My stepdad is a smart guy, he is a software engineer for 25 years. He has it really bad with drinking and sometimes can be seen sleeping on a sidewalk. Breaks my heart but this song reminds me of him.

I love how he builds up the two note A's and G's and riffs of the Asus2 chords fingerpicking and then pulls out the pick to get the versus rocking in Em, Asus2 and even turns to the band to get the rhythm perfect after the first verse. Just exactly perfect. This is what set Jerry apart from all the rest IMO. He was a master of the fretboard and rhythm.

Congrats! Sober from hard liquor the past five days... Living thru hell! But the Dead and all their forms and facets of offspring bands give me strength! Jerry gives me strength! I only wish I knew him enuff to hug him once! I can only imagine that hug would have imparted wisdom, heart, healing, and a tremendous amount of love into my soul! Fckn love u Uncle J!!! U r the father I nvr had.... Brings me to tears considering the parallels of our addiction... I just wish I was born earlier.. Maybe we cud have crossed paths, related, became friends, and helped each other......Jerry!...u are a loved and appreciated master... Gone too soon! I jst pray u know yer impact now and how many struggling common people believe in u still!!! soak in yer art and are elevated by it! Fckn love u Uncle J! You have guided the younger generation soo much! Atleast the intellectual of my generation... We need you! We want u bck! Thnx to Phil, Bob, and Mikey for carrying on yer legacy.. If i had a time machine I'd use it to meet u backstage late 70s era....and thank you Big Steve for carrying the torch! U r an amazing man! I pray to the Dead every night night! Godfathers of love, acceptance, peace, serenity, and jst plain good feelings.. Masters of our reality. 🙏🙏🙏😁
