THANK YOU FOR THIS!! I would love to see more practical videos such as this - ex. setting up final files, what formats to use, how to ensure Pantone Colours are accurate, how to export/translate to Pantone, etc.
This is mind-blowing ! We love your stuff ! 🔥🙌🏽🔥
You answered something I have been wondering for a while in such a easy to understand way. You are better than my graphics professor.

nice tips like always! thank you.
Great video, Sensei! Definitely one of my favourites. I recently did a couple of print projects for people, and I wish I'd known about the PDF formats beforehand! Will be keeping these in mind from now on! Massive thanks!

Cheers for the video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Fiymaria Graphic Gainer (probably on Google)? It is a smashing one off product for getting the best graphic design for your project minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam finally got astronomical success with it.
So many great tips in this video! Getting the right shade of "black" can be a print designers biggest challenge sometimes - especially as it then varies based on paper selection!
Great tips. I’d love to see more videos on getting files ready for print 👌🏼
Really good. Thanks a lot for these tips.
Great and helpful video, waiting for more stuff
man this is what i looking for have my subscribe dude!
Thank you so much for making such a good and interesting tuto (good looking video too). It is difficult to find full information about those processes on the Internet, most of the tutos being about creation only, even if creation is the most difficult process. cheers.
Wow.. thanks bro.. this is something I was looking for a long time
Great info and I'd really want to know more. Good stuff.
great tips, thank you

They were quite helpful!!! Keep up the good work bro. Can you please make more videos on Designing tutorials?
Thank you! We want more 😀 Could you make a video about different print presets, colour management, colour conversions and so on? How to make sure your colours are consistent, especially when you make a design for print and web?
Thanks so much
amazing tutorial
Finally! A video that mentions bleeds. I can’t tell you how many customers don’t have an understanding of this concept. I would also mention 1- ensure your project is created in a cmyk color space. This is important. Screen and print are two different things. 2-avoid custom spot colors or spot colors with custom names...unless you’re planning to use a special mix ink.

@@SatoriGraphics Correct me if i'm wrong but I have some doubts about this technic (using build in bleeds). Doesn't it just scale up artwork a bit to fill in bleeds? Usually it shouldn't make big difference but when you made pixel-perfect / fine details / small fonts graphic it could ruin final effect. My print-room just gives templates with bigger artwork size. What are your thoughts?
The billboard one was very helpful. My class had to make banners that were about 3x5ft but we didn't know about scaling for large prints so the Indesign documents were the literal size. Opening that file takes forever now cuz it so big -_-
Nice vid thanks
Good video. I just didn't understand how to set up a large billboard document...

Thank u.. these are really useful.. I used to make the large size bill board files! Now i will use the quarter size art boards.. Also, i used to give 300ppi for my 20 feet billboard !! Now i know that only 80ppi is to be given.. I normally give 3mm bleed in my A5 size pamphlets.. now on i will give 5mm bleed..

@@SatoriGraphics your welcome dude
Plz guide about fb and other social media posts resolution & setting. Thanks
At the end of your video you choose "all printers marks" but all you need it the trim marks and the bleed. Registration marks are used in screen printing to line up the screens, most printers ignore the color bars unless the client specifically asks to match colors and the page information only lists the document title

@@SatoriGraphics This is quite different, I thought that the billboards need greater PPI! I am eagerly waiting for the video that you gonna make for all of us, on these large scale printing topic!👍

Hi Satori Graphics: For Example when am designing 500x1000 cm, billboard resolution at 30. This is what usually I do scale it down to 50x100 or 5x10 cm and resolution at 1400 pixels, then will paste it into the 500x1000cm. What do think?
If the bill borders is about 10 ft 5ft how should I manage my art bord in small size..?

@@SatoriGraphics I've tried this: color book> PANTONE + solid coated> edit or apply colors> color But the illustrator does not indicate the PANTONE code :/ Still, thank you for your support.
What if I design 4,5 m by 2,5 m document with must 300 PPI (print on wall in office) :/
Dear Friend all these years I heard various differnet values for rich black or design's black. C70% M50% Y30% K100% & C60% M60% Y60% K100% do you agree? Also find so helpful your advices Thanks mate!!!
now would you look at that: a 6 minute video taught me more useful stuff about print than a whole semester at university. We only learned super detailed postscript stuff and pdf-version differences which was stuff that I NEVER EVER NEEDED AGAIN. I can't even print a birthday invitation with that trash knowledge, sheesh

What kind of jobs will be available if you take a graphics print making course?
@SatoriGraphics
4 жыл бұрын
What do you mean exactly by 'print making'? You can also try and Google your question as I am sure there will be results relating to that exactly :)
I know this is an older video, but as someone who works in print production, regarding bleeds - ask the print provider for bleed specification for the job. In our workflow, (digital wide format printing) we actually prefer not to have a bleed set at all because our automated processes will enlarge the pdf's page boxes to the appropriate bleed size for the job on the fly. All we need is artwork that extends beyond the borders of illustrator's artboard for that to work correctly. And for the love of all things holy - do *not* include printer's marks of any kind. The chances that your design software will place the right kind of marks on the document for the print provider to use in their production workflow is highly unlikely. Our RIP places all necessary marks for the job, and those marks are different depending on the kind of job it is.
where is the full course to "book design " or "catalog design "?
i dont know anything about design and i really want to afford to go to study but i cant :/

One of the tips should be work with CMYK and not RGB.
