the intention was mostly to be like "omg wow this is so good THIS is my calling" and then im like meh nevermind i was wrong. like initially have high hopes then it i dip down into the doubt. but also, most of my songs are very impulsive. there was not a massive amount of thought into it other than me projecting my experience. i like when other people give me their interpretations, i feel like it adds a lot to the actual meaning of the song. i feel like the audience builds the meaning of the song more than the author. in my case at least. i quite like your interpretation, too! i think it adds to the theme i was going for

@@justanoval It's nice that you have that kind of mentality especially with experimental stuff like this that is open to interpretation. Sometimes I avoid commenting on music if I know the artist replies to them because they sometimes see alternate interpretations and go "No. It means This." Which just really turns me off from listening because I can't have my own experience with it anymore. ....sorry for the rant but I'm happy you like what I saw in your creation. I've also experienced the first situation you described before. It's definitely valid.

i immediately thought of bill wurtz when seeing the visuals and the hearing the bass under the words and the song also reminded me of sodikken because of the overlayed voices creating a weird affect (positive promise i love it)

This is the type of good that belongs in like, the 2010s. It's SO GOOD that it almost feels like a classic. And I know it's inspired by people like Bill Wurtz which is probably why, but it's actually so so good that it feels like its own entity.

It's so ironic how supposedly what being said is the oposite of what is being shown, but the text organization and non-confusing or uncomfortable font and color serves it's purpose well to separate the thoughts and verses.

i use Blender! there's a few things i have to do to get things to look pixelated: - turn the sampling and filter size all the way down to get that sharp blending - in compositing, set up nodes to scale 0.25 -> pixelate -> scale 4 (or whatever ratio you want) - i render in Eevee, and go shader to rgb -> color ramps switched to constant on all materials to have a limited color palette here's a very good quick tutorial on it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aqmgx9uRcbzSaKg.htmlsi=x_WYGNbyT9uRATNF the only difference is they make it render at 50%, while i instead set the ratio in compositing using scale nodes. i chose to do this because of some weird anti-aliasing issues that i had.
