Sidney was a bit too broken and dark. It was a terrific character, but sometimes felt monotonous and always heavy. Wasn’t sure if I would like the new character or not. But The new character, Will, is a breath of fresh air. Yes, he has his issues, but he isn’t all doom and gloom all the time.

I love this show! The colours, the acting, the location, everything!

Grantchester is a welcome relief from the brutal action shows and mysteries. Love the comradery between Will and Geordie.

I didn’t love the way Sidney left the series and had concerns about the new cast...not only did it survive the change...I think it’s actually better. The writing seems to have stepped things up.

I love this show. I do miss Sydney but I still love it and will watch it :)

So excited for the start of Season 5....love the stories, the cast and the beautiful setting

Great show!!

I've loved this show since the very first episode. ❤ James Norton and Robson had the most outstanding chemistry. They were great together! All of the other characters are really outstanding and make each episode believable. Leonard's character is so relateable to many of life's situations. He does such a good job! Having Norton exit in that way seemed so incongruous to the previous story line, to my way of thinking. Obviously I'm not alone in that thinking. It just did not fit. Can't wait to enjoy this season. Keep up the good work!.

plan to watch season 5, but only for Al Weaver, don’t care much for Will, he has a role that’s an interesting character, but doesn’t fit quite right, how can a guy with a magazine photo shopped face have any problems.He makes Robson seem like a short dumpy and sort of dumb guy.Unfair because Robson is very good.

I love Leonard...he's my favourite character, and definitely has the most interesting personal storyline.

"There is always someting bad around the corner, " says Robson. Who knew there was so much crime in a semingly idyllic place like Grandchester. I watch, anyway.

I am still mad about the way they exited Sidney from the show. It made no sense at all to the overall story. He should have left with Amanda! The show is not the same without James Norton. They try to make the new guy interesting but he just plain is not.

It always grows so maybe some people should wait and see. Itsanail bitter on the low, buthey he mivrs with his currents so it is whatit shall be. I enjoy the show.

Series that encourages smoking, drinking, inconclusive in human relationships. The family is the real victim.

This show is so terrible I bet the cast are all slaves forced to act.
