I have been teaching myself how to crochet one video at a time...(not the greatest idea) Before your video, I could make a blanket, but not a granny square... It was very frustrating..I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong... It was my corners...I was only putting one set of stitches in the corner. Thank you for teaching me how to crochet a granny square.

I admit I had to restart the video several times because my hands don't work well anymore. I finally got it last night-Thank You. I'm going to continue to do the individual granny squares. Do you have a video how to assemble/join the squares? Thank You Again!!

Si glad you were able to do it and hope crocheting makes you feel more comfortable. If you prefer to make the squares individually, you can sew them together afterwards with small stitches. I don't have a video of that unfortunately. You can also crochet squares together as you go but then it makes larger pieces all the time. Here's my video about that: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y3Waj8iaecqtYaw.html All the best to you!

❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻 You are the BEST! It has been since 2012 the last timeI knitted ( socks, baby things), crochet a granny square which I had to teach myself around that time from KZread, paint and do many crafts. Tonight I practiced with your video. I had to unravel and restart at least seven times but I finally finished a square perfectly! This was the way how I did my squares exactly. I subscribed and will keep watching it over plus look at your other videos! You were perfect for me to relearn again and God bless you! You are an angel. When you teach something like crocheting. You are teaching a gift that someone can do for the rest of their lives and create handmade gifts to give to bring joy to many. xo🙏🏻❤️

Thank you for your lovely, patient voice - and your quiet, beautiful hands! My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was about 8 years old. She was about 80, blind, and crocheted by feel - and I can't imagine how! I've spent many happy hours crocheting and knitting throughout my life. Now I'm 80 and working on a Granny Square blanket for a new Great Grandgirl! In searching for a better way to join new colors at corners I found this video. Your color join is so much neater than mine has been through the years. I'm ready to join my blocks now, and I'm on the lookout for how to CROCHET my blocks together rather than sew them. I did this years ago, but don't quite remember what I did. I'm hoping to find instructions in one of your videos. Regardless, thank you again for the new knowledge. Peace to you.

Thank you! Sorry I'm so late in answering, I normally answer comments twice a week, now hadn't for almost 2 weeks! So interesting to hear your crochet story. I also like crocheting squares together, I have this video about it kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y3Waj8iaecqtYaw.html All the best to you, enjoy crocheting!

Really enjoying your videos! I learned to crochet from my mom and my grandmother but I haven’t done it in many years so I’m starting again. One thing I always question is if I am joining at the right place in a ring or a row. I have joined the ring for many years in the slip-stitch or the first hole in the row. My crochet then ended up looking lopsided and I would get fed up because it certainly didn’t look like the crochet of my mother or grandmother lol. Thank you for being authentic, kind, clear and from what I can see here - responsive! I can’t wait to start crocheting again watching your videos!
