FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

This was an amazing tutorial. I had just started crochet around 2-3 days ago and this was easy to follow. For any beginners watching this video as their first project I would recommend starting small like doing a mini heart or flower and practice crocheting on them and then starting with bigger projects just so it doesn't feel overwhelming at the start.
Oh my gosh...it makes sense now!!! Thank you so much for this tutorial - I can see your stitching clearly, and you took me through it so slowly, explaining everything along the way. The first time I followed this tutorial earlier this week, it took me 3 hours and 5 unravels to complete my first ever granny square. I just followed this tutorial again and it took me 1 hour and 0 unravels! I'm so proud of myself (which is a rare occurrence) and so grateful to you. 💜 I'm someone who benefits greatly from very thorough, visual instructions and this is perfect. Thank you so much! 🥰 The last time I did any crocheting was in elementary school, so 25 years ago, give or take 😉 back then my teacher held up my project for everyone to see, only to say "this is precisely how NOT to do it - the stitches are too tight". It's haunted me ever since and hasn't helped my issues with anxiety 😅😢 it might have taken me a few decades but I'm back at it, and so excited to watch my progress 😊

Sometimes listening to the videos don't always help. But taking the voice out and making mental notes of what she is doing helps a lot. Just watch and think about it. And the step by step for sure helped too thank you

This is the best tutorial I’ve ever watched. Not just for granny squares or crocheting but for ANYTHING. Thank you so much for being so thorough and informative!! I’m in the US but will forever say treble now 😂

Hi, Coco this is my favorite crochet tutorial. And you are doing great. Thank you very much. ☺️
I'm trying crochet for the first time and this video was amazing!! the last granny square video i tried to follow i accidentally made it into a star and was pretty confused about that (I still am tbh) but this video was easy to follow and allowed me to make something pretty for once!!

You saved me from quitting! You explain every step so perfectly. I only had to unravel once 😢 Thank you so much for this video.

Hello, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you and let you know what an impact you have made on someone. You are such an awesome teacher. You made this tutorial so easy for an absolute beginner like me. Till today I never even picked up a ball of yarn or crochet needle so I can't believe i have actually made a granny square and have been able to do this! I have to admit, it's taken me a good couple of hours to get used to the feel of what I'm doing but you explained it so thoroughly and simply I was able to figure out what I am looking for and I have nailed it! My mum is so amazed at the work I've done lol. You are the absolute best! Thank you once again x x

Shabna Shahid I know this is an old comment but I totally agree with you. My mom sat and helped me crochet a granny square for 3 hours, and now I'm trying to do one on my own... not as easy to start! She definitely made one of the best tutorials around! My Mom was getting frustrated because I didn't get what she was explaining so now that I can make my own I just let her think that she taught me that! 😂 all in all when my Mom's happy, the family is happy... this video was a life saver!!
finally a crystal clear tutorial on granny square! Thanks for sharing!
This is the first ever tutorial that I've actually understood, thanks for teaching! 💗

I’m getting some crocheting stuff in the mail tomorrow and I’m literally so excited! It’s been years since I did it and I never really learned properly or even used an actual book so this will be fun
I just wanted to say a massive thank you. I learned to crochet watching your channel and my first project was your starburst blanket. Fast forward two years, and many projects later, thanks to a minor stroke, I'm medically retired from work. Due to balance issues, I spend most of my time on my ever widening derriere! I'm relearning to crochet watching your channel, as well as following your journey as a mum on your other channel. You really are an inspiration. I'm hoping the 'birthday fairy' brings me a video camera on Tuesday, as my next recovery goals are to learn to 'KZread' and blog. Can't think where that idea came from 😉😉 Thanks again, from another 'Midlander', Dotty xxx

I love how you do it in basic ways.. I've been searching for this kind of video to follow.. good thing I found & started trying to make same pattern as yours.. At first I was disappointed not able to do it on my own but after finding your video that look simple, I am able to make one.. I'm aiming to make a crocheted blanket or bed cover, hope I can finish it.. Thank you so much for your video, it's really helpful🥰 Looking forward for more of your crochet videos.. Hi Sarah. I am a new subscriber. I have always wanted to learn to crochet and this year I decided I would make time to actually do it! Your channel has been recommended to me by several crocheters and I just wanted to say that your tutorials are the best. You make the projects so easy to understand and follow and you film so that it is clear to see exactly what to do and where to put your hook. Thank you for making learning crochet less stressful!!! Can I ask, are you planning to bring back your vlogs? I've been going back through all of your uploads and I love your vlogs x
