Yes! They have been killed by the Mother in Strangerville and the girl wants to discover how they disappear. Her brother stop talking since their death and he's a loner and pessimistic guy who hasn't accepted his parent's death yet, he played all day to not think about them and about what happened to them. But, despite this apparent lack of interest, he's also into science, space, aliens and studies to know about them and tries to find answers too. So, her little sister asks him for help: she's the emotional and supernatutal part with ghosts and psychic's stuff; he's the rational and scientific mind.

Could you do Lorelai and Rory's house from Gilmore girls. Its totally your style! It would be beautiful

I love that the dining table only has two chairs. It pushes the idea that the kids moved in very suddenly, and can definitely contribute to the kids feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Could explain some of the conflict/tension between the teenager and grandparents

I imagine that the granddaughter (who has main character vibes) living here is quite curious, and when she found the cowplant growing in the concrete near her school, she had to investigate. She enlists the help of her brother, who is quite knowledgeable about all thing science fiction but isn’t really the perfect grandson his grandfather imagined (one that he could take fishing and stuff), to help her solve the mystery encircling their town. It turns out that when they lived in Strangerville, their grandmother worked for the government, and the cowplant was offspring of the Mother Plant. Can they save the world from the invasive species, will the brother win the heart of the popular girl next door, will the sister reunite with the alcoholic mother she hasn’t seen in nearly a decade?

i love it! but have you considered... the grandson winning the guy next door heart 🌈😳 maybe that guy would have a family more incorporated in strangerville (like having the keys of the archives because his parent is the mayor of strangerville or something) and help them unconsciously or with throwaway small clues...

Putting the debug house next to your house is like the most genius thing ever.

Is this house build going to be part of your save file? The idea's really interesting. Maybe the parents passed away or lost their parental rights, they were prolly struggling to make end meets and can't motherlode but they don't want their kids to end up in foster homes so grandparents to the rescue. I'd like to think the parents are working to win back custody or one could be deadbeat for some drama. The grandma can be badas_, like Elizabeth II badas_, serving military, fighting criminals! Aww, the little girl and her tiny Cowplant's cute, good thinking! The house will give any kid Sims the perfect childhood, it's well thought-out. I don't know you personally Dawn, I think you're a great Mum and I know I congratulated you so many times - I'm just happy for you and your family 💖

the family lived in strangerville until the parents both got possessed and disappeared, and the grandparents had to move away so the kids could be safe.

Maybe the teen boy is so into gaming that everyone thinks he's wasting his life away with it. He starts dating a really proper girl that's really smart (maybe she lives in Mt. Komorebi) and her parents don't approve and don't like him because they think she deserves "better". And he ends up being a professional gamer very successful.

I LOVE seeing the debug shells being used!!! I don't know why I love the debug items so much. They just look so detailed and give the lots more character.

Their parents are very busy people and work a lot for their jobs! They had to move to a different ‘state’ so the grandparents watch their children! I think that’s a good backstory. Also, I ❤️ the house! I cannot wait to start playing the sims again 😁

story idea for the parents: maybe they were criminals (fake mediums or con artist type of thing) so the grandparents took the kids to live with them, maybe thats why the daughter has the cow plant and is actually really interested in spiritualism and has a natural gift for it but doesn't want the grandparents to find out!

One set of my grandparents loved playing Nintendo games. They actually had a Nintendo before me lol. It was so much fun playing video games with them. I have very fond memories, they have both passed now.

Ok sad storyline, but maybe the parents died fairly recently and the daughter is convinced that she can talk to their ghosts or she has realized she has some abilities as a medium and is looking into it, but the rest of the family thinks she’s imagining it all and should try to let go.

Those beds are my favorite, the tops look like quilts. Yes, I am a quilter. lovely build.

Could you maybe at some point build 4 houses, each inspired by the four elements? The houses can look normal, but maybe the interior looks themed to the element. Like for water a beach house, with very oceanic decor inside and such.

maybe the daughter is getting interested in the paranormal stuff like trying to contact their parent(s) who might have recently or suddenly died? the cow plant isn’t really ghosty but it could be a gateway into other stuff from the pack

When there was a sudden flood of puppies and kittens in the save I lost my mind, it was so funny and every single family suddenly had like 5 pets 😂😂🙈 I think maybe their parents disappeared, considering the Strangerville storyline? Maybe the cowplant was a gift from a fortune teller who traveled through Strangerville around the time the parents went missing and told the child to seek her out eventually? I love this build and can't wait for your save file updates!

the paranormal pack is based around ghost hunting! you can host seances, become a ghost hunter, and make haunted houses!

I love when you use the shell debug houses because I like the neighborhood that feels full and the Sims 4 Lots are way too big. The same goes for the apartments but some of the builders have been using platforms to fill in some parts of the apartment, which just makes the apartments feel more New York because they feel overpriced now that they’re smaller and I love that. sometimes if I do use a shell house I’ll put a shell within the shell so to prevent him from trying to walk into it because I’m not sure if they can do that but I don’t want them to even if they can.😀

This house is awesome! And I love the cool backstory for the kids and their grandparents. I imagine their parents were sadly killed in a car wreck and suddenly, despite their plans for retirement, the grandparents find themselves with two kids on their hands. Now they are trying to make the best of things 😊

i really like the house the way it turned out and the story is pretty fun , you could say that the parents have moved some years ago to an other country or state for a better work oportunity and the kids wanted to stay buckor they couldent come . in my mind is a boy and a girl or two boys and they live in a simply way far from the city they play out a lot or going fishing or riding their bikes with they friends and come home late at night so that might be a reason why they fight with their grandparents and they have a more oldsckool lifestyle .

I live with my grandparents because my mum is in the military and my dad lives 8 hours away by plane so I live with my grandparents and I love it because it’s so cozy and cluttered and the fire is always on and I just couldn’t imagine my life differently.

For some reason, when you placed the truck outside, I imagined that maybe the teenage son would be into cars. So maybe fixing up cars is something he and his grandpa would do together and that's their bonding time when he's not rebellious or anything like that.

This build is so cute! And I love the backstory! Also, parent idea: the mom died of a sickness and the dad became depressed and started drinking a lot, so the grandparents took custody of them so that he wouldn’t be able to hurt them.

I feel that the mini cowplant is somehow connected to her parents, so she goes on this "quest" of some sort to learn more about her roots through the cowplant. Maybe her mother/father was a ghost hunter (that's what the paranormal pack is about btw) and the cowplant was like their sidekick?! And it found its way to her; that would be very weird but its what I imagine 😅😂

What if the grandma is eco-friendly and joins the movement to make the Harbor better? And she invites the child to help clean up and that's where she finds the Cowplant?!

you could've made the laundry room into a dining space and put the washing machine in the garage :) the build is great as always

I found a nice story for the cowplant thing! maybe there is a big house cleaning day and grandma goes to clean the girls room and when she was getting the dust of the bookshelf she dropped the cowplant and they decided to keep it so they planted it at the back yard and covered it with bushes so the neighbours dont see it.

Chubby Gramps! With plaid and shirt braces/suspenders (idk what u guys call em I'm British lol. Does the Sims even have that?! I don't have the game) and a moustache! For hot weather he has a bucket hat, crazy patterned shirt cargo shorts, and sandals with socks lol! Grandma is very delicate and feminine. Always wears skirts/dresses and lil heeled shoes. She calls everyone 'dearie' hahaha!
