BM directed at me definitely sets me on edge. Intellectually, there's no threat there and it is pretty funny when someone gets worked up over nothing. But I get that unpleasant adrenaline shot anyway.

It does inspire me to handle it better - Although I wish we didn't have to handle it at all...Truly isn't needed and it saddens me we can just enjoy a game.

That guy was just sad. *I see people are being muted (shows an x in channel) just keep reporting BM, and don't feed it.*

I know the common wisdom is to brush off BM on the internet since its just anonymous pixels, but I think its totally normal to have a negative reaction to the stupid, vile shit that people spew in online games. There's a human being on the other side of every monitor and words do have an effect on us whether we like it or not. Props for not responding and instead giving him a good old-fashioned ghost spanking.

For me, it depends on how creative they are. The first match one id just laugh off.

Man that first game was amazing, it’s the most gratifying thing watching you tear apart these nasty people. Kudos to you!

How the heck did that first guy get to GM. Gets upset at a basic ebay block, loses every probe to 3 Ghosts revealing that he had absolutely no read on his opponent's build. That's like gold level at best.

For me, BM always feels unexpected, despite having received it a lot. Here I am, enjoying spending my free time playing a video game I love with other people, when a person I'm playing with starts spewing hate. It temporarily jolts me out of the good mood I was in and makes me feel like uthermal said -- as if I had just been attacked. It's sad that some people could get that angry while playing a video game. And that they continue to play the game because they find that getting that angry is still better than how the other things they were doing was making them feel.

Im definitely not going to lie, I rage in online games some times, but when that happens I also know its time for a break. But I never say shit like kill your self. It's mostly introspection/self realization being lashed out.

there are a lot weirdos in this game BMers are not that bad compared to smurfs: people lowering their mmr on purpose to have easy victories against players much below their real mmr They need therapy.

Excellently handled putting that screaming baby Protoss to bed in the first match.

That engineering bay block tilted that GM protross so bad that it won you the game. I love how that one small move can have such a huge influence on the enemy.

Really felt your comments about the BM in this video. When I was still playing chess, I had some intense anxiety about playing - my heart would race and I could only play so many games before I got too exhausted to continue. A very intense experience where I would feel pressure because I felt like I had something riding on the result. I've since temporarily given up chess because I didn't have the energy to improve at it, and the draining effect was impacting other areas of my life. Still, I do think it felt like being under attack and I can see where your comparison comes from. Love the content and I hope this message finds you in a happy and healthy place!

@@filosofiadetalhista Sometimes people focus so much on the meta that they forget how to deal with unorthodox strategies. If your thoughts are so heavily focused on X beats Y, and D beats E, but if they do E against my X I should swap to A then someone going off and going "lol here's QW" will make them not really know how to handle it. It goes for any game with a very well defined meta, though you definitely still need the skill to back up being unorthodox.

wouldn't cyclone, mine be a good combo, since the mines can give vision and the cyclones can also take advantage of units hesitating to walk into mines? also sniping observers out of the sky would be very satisfying ;)

Yes the mines support the cyclones by killing their counters (small and high mass units: marines, ling bane, chadlots)

It's my favorite unit comp in 4v4. It's great versus zerg, solid against toss, and good in the early game against terrain. Tanks make the cyclones/mines obsolete. For zerg, fungal and the viper's yoink hard counters mine/cyclone. Against toss, it's hard to fight colussus and disruptors but with good micro, it is doable. Against carriers, it's impossible to fight straight up, but you could lock on to one carrier at a time with 4-6 cyclones run away, then do it again and again. You have to use a scan for every carrier you attack for the vision. On a related note, carriers + cyclones are one of the best unit combos. The opposing units' AI targets the carriers instead of the cyclones. Meanwhile, cyclones are glass cannons that you could try to hide below the carriers while the cyclones fire away with their insane dps.

You can set the Surveillance Mode for your observer. It provides 25% wider vision range, but you cannot move with it.

Your "phase 2" should be Raven. You could save up so much scan and secured so much snipe.

Uthermal, that Ebay block on toss is a great strat to always employ as many of them are not used to it, case in point the last couple of wins versus them (and the bm er)

hi uthermal, how about widow mines battlecruisers to GM like in the old days?

Three ghosts walking into your base in 4 min is pretty hard to see coming.

So one day, I was playing TVZ, the zerg put a hatchery nearby ma base an roaches rush; in the moment I almost lost(maybe 5SCV left) the zerg player start to say something like "It's such an easy game" something like that; and then my librator finished, anyway I use BC won the game at the end, and I start to text "You're right, it is a easy game" just do the same thing as he did few mins ago, that was the most satisfying starcraft game ever!!

I think with regards to bm it just makes it a little personal … you are no longer 2 faceless generals commanding troops they attacked you personally - and so the desire for retribution becomes personal - rather than a simple desire to beat a skilled opponent

Wonderful series! I have not really general question: at 25:14 you sent one ghost to scout and they use F2 to add ghost to the group 1, but scouting ghost has not been added. How you managed to do this?

I think you should be allowed to randomize your challenges, so that IF you get a repeat opponent, you could switch to a different challenge to throw off your advisory.

25k Subs :0000 gg wp I think that instead of dropping nukes, you should drop ghosts to do damage, that way you get at least 1 probe per trip haha :). May be even a lot of probes and delay mining until they get cannons or stalkers around their base

Yeah it's sort of fascinating. I don't know anyone that would make these types of comments.

I had an anxiety attack when you didn't clock the ghosts defending the chargelots in your main in the first game.

Your far too nice and gentlemanly. I would have just laughed at him and responded to him twice as rudely.
