You abandoned those ghosts faster than Mengsk abandoned Kerrigan :'(

"Hey boys, how about sniping those Overseers...?" "Belay that order, we're moving out."
Just about the best finale you could hope for. -Got all the races -Great games that were competitive, but clearly showed the limitation of the challenge -Ends on a complete killer of a game -Perfect ending ranking That was a wonderful series and I'm excited for the fun games that mines and cyclone will bring!

Agreed, you couldn’t have scripted it any better. Mine - Cyclone is going to be nasty fun.
what a trip this has been. Thanks for the marvelous and fun time boss.
Ill always be here for any new content Thermy. You're the most wholesome Terran on UTube. So keep doing what you're doing

He maybe the only wholesome Terran and not just on YT, but in whole SC2, and I say it as a Terran. . . . . . . Jk obviously, but you know how it is with us Terrans ;)

I love the uTube uThermal reference
The word which comes to mind when summing this series for me is "poetic". Poetic in the 'Homer: Iliad' style. There were great victories, tragic losses, setbacks, new plans leading to new understandings and new advantages, struggles and deeper losses and stagnation, victories which turned to great triumphs and some into even more tragic loses. Then finally the end games of SC2 warriors known by many on the ladder resulting in Achilles worthy duels and in the end achieving the goal of EXACTLY top 100. Ghost to grandmaster = the Iliad of all challenges and in perfect parallel (ghost are the trojan horse - popping up when you don't expect), in the end achieved what it set out to do. - - - - Been a subscriber for awhile now thermy but this and ravens made me an absolute addict to your content. Made me fall way behind on my pig / lowko vids. shhhhh don't tell them!
your stamina statement brought a lot of memories back to me. SC2 was so relaxing! I would auto pilot & macro up fully leaned back in my chair listening to comedy shows. but some of my teammates would need breaks & got tense, anxious & needed time to walk or smoke it off. Its truly amazing how people can play so differently
You are literally the most hardworking content creator in this scene. 30k subs are the least of what you deserve. I hope you see a meteoric rise in following and I also hope sc2 also grows. I learned terran from you and at 500 games I am diamond 1. I watch your content all the time and I love all your series. Whatever happens you have an ardent superfan right here. Best wishes.
Yoo thermy. Don't be afraid to push stuff out to us that is new or different. You are pushing SC2 content beyond the rest of the community. Not everything will be a hit, but we come to you for your analysis and engaging gameplay! Take risks! We love it!
Your videos brought me back into starcraft. You wanna know why? Because a lot of content can be unconventional. I got overwhelmed as player being told you gotta play x way and thats the only way to do things. You break that box people try to put you in as well as some other starcraft content creators. Things like AI challenges or even custom games would be something I would wanna see. I wanna see fun content over competitive content. While sometimes I enjoy high player pvp to know the difference in contrast and see what is possible I'd rather go with the philosophy of play how you want and maybe something can be learned here for the future of starcraft in general.
I'm also interested in you trying the Nightmare campaign. It would probably be fun, plus you can do just a few episodes to see if people are interested
Bro an epic nuke compilation would be DOOOPPPPEEEEE

30 minutes of nukes would be a great way to remember ghost to GM. There were some truly epic nukes
I really enjoy your commentary. You give credit where it’s due. This has been fun and informative. Somehow, you’ve made a “war game”, wholesome. Looking forward to the next challenges and new content. Have you considered any challenges with other races?
I absolutely loved this series (and the H+R). Can't wait for your next challenge. In the mean time I'll check out your previous ones. Keep it up Marc
That first game vs Zerg I kept groaning when you didn't shoot the overseer. Those big fights where you kept losing ghosts it was just because the overseer wasn't sniped or shot and your cloaking was of course useless when the overseer is left alive.

Yeah, that seemed like an easy win with the Overseers consistently out of the picture.

The zerglings were usually on top of his ghosts though, making it pretty dang hard to get those snipes off.

Snipe gets cancelled when taking damage, still feels bad at some moments, yeah
Really enjoy your channel. Your commentary is great and impressive that you are able to deliver on that while playing.
Exactly 100. How perfect! Well done! This was an awesome journey!
That was awesome !! Thanks so much for all the fun during this serie ! ❤️
Dunno exactly the number of how many fully saturated base nukes we got across the entire show, but we easily went over a hundred or so hahahahahaha Congrats thermy, so many wonderful moments with this show. Never gonna forget the omega brain preemptive nuke that obliterated 20 roaches as they climbed the ramp
A really nice series Ghost to TOP 100! Got me hooked on the channel, thanks!
Love your attitude man - a lot of other casters would be getting pissed or start raging going on a losing streak like that. But you keep a really positive outlook which makes it a lot more enjoyable for your viewers. And epic last game!
You are an inspiration to me !! Awesome content. Made me come back in StarCraft !! Will definitely be here for any content.
Imagine checking and watching SC2 games at a particular time every day like watching Netflix series. You've made this possible by being extraordinarily dedicated and punctual for MONTHS!!! It shapes habits and I've been addicted.
up until now I have been entertained good sir, you have my blessing
Probably a fitting end to the series. Got high enough to show that single-unit strats eventually hit a wall with the highest ranked opponents (games 1-4) and then showed that it still can work under the right circumstances in the last game. Get wrecked, bugs!
Glad I was here for the start and the end of one of the most epic Starcraft challenges of all time. It was exhilarating to watch you get started on this, just rolling over lower ranked opponents with a very testosterone heavy attacking style. It felt like intimidation was a big part of it, winning a big fight with cloaked units or landing an enormous nuke was enough to get a lot of opponents to GG instantly. Then it started running into problems with straight up fights, you *had* to get creative and land amazing nukes over and over. And then you hit the barrier with high skill opponents which suggests the very limits of this kind of challenge, and yet you still found plenty of times to pull out a win. Definitely looking forward to where you go next.
What a great series uThermal! Keep it up! You are by far my favorite sc2 youtuber!
I'm found your channel a bit late, but I'm enjoying it so much! In high school I often played some friends in Starcraft 1, and I'd always go for ghost and nuke combo, and I won every game but one. So seeing similar strategy from a great player that is infinitely better that me is very satisfying!
Congrats on the top 100 !! Been a great journey watching this and raven to GM.
That last redemption game was amazing! What a series! Thanks for the awesome content as always Marc!
Big thanks to Ghost to GM for bringing me to the channel. Looking forward to the next challenge!
tnx for the episode. enjoyed it like everyday. never had a day you disappoint. tnx for the hard work.
So entertaining to watch! And we can also learn alot! the daily vids are always something to look forward to! I cant wait for the new challenges
Love you man. Great content.
Just finished the video. What a finale. What a series.
Love watching your stuff, win or lose. That last game was really fun though, so many zerglings.
Congratulations on getting that last win!!! I enjoyed the games too, even though you were losing
OK you bring back my old life of broodwar... thank you.
@57:24 I beeelieeeeve! Also I'm not sure if you'll read this or not, but one of the reasons ghosts are so hard to pick up vs other bio, is because they're slower. Marines have stim, Maruaders have stim, Reapers are just speedy anyways, hell bats are slower but hellions are speedy, so the speed of the ghosts make them trickier to pick up.
Loving this KZread content. Keep it coming!
Interested in failed 1v7 attempts as well. Maybe not all of them, but out of 71 attempts, there MUST be good footage.
The last game was incredible... Dude you rock \m/
Respect for losing so well and keeping your cheerful demeanour!
That was so awesome! Loved this challenge!
“Let’s freaking go.”
I liked the 1v7 a lot but didn't finish it because i fall asleep ( i watch your videos when i go in bed )
Damn, I thought you were totally screwed in the last game against the Zerg. Great ending!
Nicely done!!!
great content creator. Please keep up the good work :)
Keep this up, loving it
congrats thermy, great series
Excited for the next channel
uThermal from 1 year ago, LETS KEEP IT GOING, LETS GOOO!!! =D
Amazing ending to a super awesome challenge!
marc, ur content is amazeballs!
this was abselutly awesome
thank you uthermal, may the lord bless you in this lfe. i enjoy life because of you thanks 👍
This sesame street for adults. Papa thermal- " its okay to be sad sometimes guys".
Daaannngg great finale!
Keep it up! Love watching this stuff and the vs. AI is always very cool! Please dont tell us they are failed attempts! I think it would be a fun puzzle to figure out what the heck you did wrong and it would kinda expose the strict timing! And strict offence to defense ratio!
A jolly good job mate.
Sir, your videos are always the highlight of my day.
Gotta love the auto-generated subtitles. Apparently this challenge is "Ghost Recon Master".
New to the channel, have absolutely no idea what’s happening but enjoying it nonetheless
Can anyone help me understand why you que the engineering bay before making the building? Does it make the acv work faster? Is it any different than using patrol or move que build?
Amazing finale !
you a legend for this marc, commenting for the algo

my secret dream for your next challenges is to see an entire screen of purple bars: I want to see challenges around energy-based caster units. and not only terrans, all races.
Awesome finale.. lets go ;)
Well done sir.
well done uThermal
I would be super interested in a spec-ops crossover episode. Ghosts and Ravens, maybe call it Halloween? Thank you for the great gameplay!
man, these episodes comes hard and fast!

Like ur dad!
Hi super video :p im just asking myself how do you know exactly how much workers you have ? you count 21 per base ?
RIP ghosts. The king is dead. *places crown on Mass Marines* LONG LIVE THE KING.
KZread has essentially become Uthermaltube.
im a dota player and i only watch taketv sometimes or wardy, but i must say i love ur challanges thermy :D
AWESOME end to the series!
Pumped for cyclone mine!
24:13 the most advanced building placement in the history of sc2
I feel like preemptive defensive nukes could've turned some of these around, especially against the last zerg, they didn't seem to be paying as much attention on the attack as they could've and sent the whole army straight into the wall like twice in a row.
Finally! A win!
Do you mind sharing your build order for that Ghost/Hellion into BC cheese you used at ESL? Sounds really fun.
I really enjoy this, makes me want to play sc2 again even though my micro sucks..
Beautiful
It sucks to have that missed opportunity to win in the first game but have no way to know it in the moment
That tech lab was left over from the last game...
i wonder if that first zerg rushed bot base I feel like it is so rare people check it(focusing on main) till late and it could give him a severe boost.
Wooow, insane series..... What were your winrates? That would be nice to know.
Ghost/widow would counter those Ling/bane I believe using packs of cyclones to snipe detection like observer, raven, and overseer
if you think about his 2v2 (or rather 1v2) challenges arent really are a disadvantage for him. he can coordinate his one army, whil his enemies have to coordinate their 2 armies
are you streaming your attempts? Would definitely be interested in seeing your progression
What an ending!
This episode was great, what a finale. Also shows why ghost to GM should be ending, many opponents started really picking apart the playstyle
Challenge idea: "Supply block to grand masters" - not literally, the rule would be that you can only build 1 supply depot the whole game, the rest of the supply has to come from CCs... should be a nice handicap? Very much looking forward to Cyclone/Mine!
Btw uthermal I watch every episode from start to end if I start a episode
Don't cry because it's gone. Smile, because you nuked it.
Thermy you should make compilation videos for each of your challenge series
Just a tactical question. Do you avoid to kill overseers on purpose so lings and bains don't change target or is it some other reason?
If you want to make highlight reels in the future, you should start a spreadsheet to keep track of what moments are where so you can more easily access them.
