That house could be absolutely beautiful! I would keep as much of the old as possible!

I love this house. So much potential. I would get a replica Pope mobile golf cart and drive people around the town waving at everyone. It would fit perfectly in the cantina. Just Kidding, Great Place!!

Wow, what a pleasure to "walk" thru this palace with you! The ceilings and doors are amazing! I hope whomever buys it starts a KZread channel so we all can watch them rehab it. I've watched a huge amount of videos of italian properties and I'm beginning to think it would be a good thing to have plastering skills, this one will definitely need alot done.

This is such an amazing place! All the items left, the antique chandelier in one room. The downstairs could easily be a business or artists studio. And the music was nice too! ❤ The trompe l’oeil marble wall painting and the ceilings are magnificent, I hope they can be rescued! So much to love.

With the amount of cracks, floor collapse as well as ceiling collapse I would venture to say the owners may have abandoned the home due to earthquake damage. Would need to see geological records of the area as to seismic activity in the area or issues with foundations. Many of these old stone structures are very resilient to earthquakes. At least 500K euro is a good ballpark figure for renovations if an engineer gives the green light. On a different note I did see an original FIAT 500, fully restored today, a true classic from the 60’s.

The Fiat Cinquecento was made in Tychy, Poland from 1991 to 1998. It's a 3-door hatchback. It looks to be in good condition and I have to ask if it comes with the house? The "Classic Valuer" has its value at £21,250. That's more than half the cost of the building.

I’m worried about the foundation. If it doesn’t have foundation issues, I’m guessing $700k - $1M worth of remodeling. And man, this will take the most skilled craftsman. If you have the time and money, this place would be amazing.

Ohmygosh! Perfect for someone that has the money to invest and later would be perfect for a b&b. The second floor would make 3 grand suites [turning 1 room, old kitchen, and last hall into bathroom suits] with a communal salon and foyer. The 3rd floor would make wonderful owner apartments... from examining the ceilings on the 3rd floor, 2 of the rooms looked like they were walled off in the middle of the rooms. The last room you did not really go into. I feel you were distracted by the furnace and maybe overwhelmed wanting to get out. 😂 I think some areas may have been missed. Like the back of the garage doors- I don't think you could get to. On the 2nd floor, the first set of rooms would have been above but beyond the garage and was wondering if underneath was part of the house? When looking out the window to the neighbors renovations, that would have been those rooms on that left wall. Is that courtyard part of the house? Or just the neighbors? I feel underneath that window would have been the back of the garage that would eventually meet up to the partial Cantina/ room with all the wine that a door was walled off? Basically the ground floor back corner that meets the neighbor wasn't able to be seen. This would be my life dream but no funds! If someone has the money, I have the work part! 😂 I would love to know [if it hasn't been damaged by earthquakes or wars, what is walled off. I am thinking it may have been walled off for a reason and where the cracks and damage came from. Wow, it is just stunning. It is so sad to see it in the shape it is. I hope someone will give it the time and love it deserves. Sigh. I'll be repairing it in my daydreams forever! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤

What a shame that it's been left to decay like that. That story is repeated thousands of times in so many small villages. I think it will be spectacular once it's renovated. Could you follow up with us if that happens?

When you buy these old homes, do you get everything inside it? I think that would even be amazing. Digging through trying to clean up and save what could be salvaged for the house. I even want to just get in there to clean and organize it! I am desparate to have any part of it I think. 😂😂

So much damage! I assume the roof is a complete replacement. That's $75K at least. The structural reconstruction would need to be determined before you make an offer

Out of pocket I bet you could have that place looking exquisite under $250k if you did the painting and clean up yourself. The floor and ceiling obviously being a large part of the cost. Definitely something for a jack of all trades type or someone with a bit of money to spend. 👍🏻

This home appears to have been built in the era when there were no bathrooms and you simply threw your waste out the window onto the peasants below. Outside of that, a very cool building that looks like it was blasted by tank artillery shells from the allied forces in WW2.

I am impressed by how clean they keep the outside. Obviously, it is going to need painting and a lot of work. Maybe I just don't understand the B&B's concept and their value. I would buy this home to live in it (or turn it into a museum).

Is the brick a facade over stone? It looks like it’s crumbling. Not sure if it would have to be removed or salvaged by rendering over it?

That's a lot of house for the money. However, I'd say you need at least another 200k, maybe a lot more, to fix it, especially with the damage to the roof. It looks like someone put up some corrugated fiberglass to stop the rain intrusion but to late. The damage to some of those frescoed ceilings is irreparable. I just don't understand why so many properties in Italy have been so neglected.😢Ciao

Wow, that's an ugly front door. I love the front elevation but that entry is not inviting. If it's in town that's a plus, as is a garage. A lot of scaffolding pipe laying around. Someone gave up on this home.
