Grand Canyon - The Jaw-Dropping Beauty of America's National Park | Wildlife Documentary
Watch 'Great Smoky Mountains - A Fairytale World from Once Upon A Time' here: • Great Smoky Mountains ...
Hardly any other natural wonder on earth is more impressive than the Grand Canyon. Over millions of years, the Colorado River has dug up to 1,600 meters deep into the rock and created a gorge that is almost 30 kilometers at its widest point. To protect large parts of the canyon, the US government established a national monument in 1908, which became Grand Canyon National Park in 1919. In 1979, UNESCO finally declared the Grand Canyon a World Natural Monument.

Do u think u cld ever take it for granted.Ever see it again painted in snow without feeling anything in ur heart? Somehow, Ur comment tells me, no. I don't think ur like that. U sound like u truly enjoy its natural beauty. Not everyone would do that in winter, most would be summer, I'd imagine. But the things u see in winter are not the same things in life u'd see in the summer months. Extremities in nature tend to do that, create unusual and breathtaking scenes. I envy u ur beautiful country as u may envy me mines? But not in a bad way. We all jst love beauty. ✊🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✊🏻

The grandeur of Grand Canyon is really breath taking, in this harse atmosphere life can thrive is a natural wonder, though peopled by the Pueblo tribe it is no wonder that it must have had a softer climate early on. I am jealous of the North American continent that possess so many spectacular natural creations i.e the Mississippi, the Niagara Falls,Rocky mountains, etc may these be conserved.

Asked by my daughter if I could have one wish, I told her I wish I had the means to take my family to little traveled places around the world every summer school break. Just think of her answer when the teacher asks what she did during the school break. With all the wars, hate, crime, and evil thrown at us as part of daily life, it would be wonderful to show my family the beauty and wonder the world still has to offer.

Then consider if this is God's work, too! I grew up a nature and science person, and also in church. I question everything, yet the more I learned and saw in nature and science, the more I believed in God. That may not make sense to some, yet it does to me. The time the universe has existed, the unplumbed depths of science and its deep complexity, the breathtaking beauty--where did it all start? God perhaps?

Yes, it's quite something. Even with the beauty of the photography the most telling is in narration at the beginning where he says something about the mind not being able to comprehend its vastness. The Canyon is the center of the vortex for this continent. He said it was humbling but when you arrive there you are immediately transformed into an ant... IN GLORY. What I liked about this documentary was the footage at the end where they show the Canyon in the deep red colors that appear after a rainstorm, and the slate grey clouds. That is when the Canyon is most nurturing, welcoming, enfolding. Now, with the heat in the west, the Canyon and other desert parks are going to get deadly. With the Canyon, most people don't really know the winter is the safest time visit if you plan to do any hiking.

Copper Canyon in Mexico is just as spectacular! While standing on the North Rim(one can go to the edge and look over) 4 ravens were doing dives over it and dropping hundreds of feet, before taking wing. They flew over me so close I could hear the flap of their wings. The Tataumata had built a lodge along the canyon wall! Theyd built rock shelters for centuries! They are tiny people! Miniature race. The mothers carry their babies in a sling on their backs which ends wrap around their foreheads! They are a gorgeous, really handsome race! In the middle, the canyon takes a dogleg! It goes north and is as big and spectacular as Copper Canyon itself!

Great video Lisette! I can't wait to see the rain! 🙏🏻🌧 I t's been so hot and dry here for weeks! 🥵🥵🥵 The bowling Greens that I look after at work are Yellow 😮😮! The start of the video reminds me of a song by Icelandic band, Sigur Rós called Hoppípolla. It means Hopping into Puddles😃. Have a fantastic weekend gorgeous! Much Love as always! 🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️
