Literally just 100%ed my Charlotta and fully awakened her terminus weapon tonight. Potato GODS we rise. In the case of Valiant Stance I ALWAYS run it when farming Proto Bahamut, not only because to collect every Terminus weapon you will easily memorise his attack patterns but also because almost all the time you can hit him he's lying down/stunned and you have no chance of being hit. You can pop the skill right before the ship moves or he comes in and it tends to last all the way till he leaves again (assuming you do the SBA stagger technique or link time)

Terminus weps are about 10% drop chance (in my experience) from Proto Bahamut, the final quest unlocked in the game. It's random which Terminus weapon you'll get rolled between every character you have unlocked. I've only maxed 2 Terminus weapons and had pretty much all the mats by the time I decided to actually max them. For sigils you'll want to trade in all your bad wrightstones and sigils for Knicknack tickets then transmute level 3 all them for stocks of the special transmute (very bottom one forgot the name). Personally I save up about 10-20 rolls, save before doing them roll until I get something I want or run out and if I don't get what I want I just return to title screen play 1 easy mode quest to reset the roll RNG then repeat until I get sigils I want. Some of the best sigils such as Supplementary DMG V and War Elemental are only from Curio turns ins and can't be save scummed unfortunately. I have just around 80 hours in the game and comfortably beat the story, every multiplayer quest got half the terminus weapons and maxed 2 of them. If you know how to efficiently farm the grind really isn't so bad. Fortitude stones (the mats you use to level up weapons) are actually the most needed and what you'll run out of the most lol. @@pencilcheck

@@Pine2142 oh no, I have been using fortitude stones for vouchers since I can easily get 200 of them with just 20 of Large. If you plan to max more than one character (crafting every weapon and max upgrading them is very important for the stats) then absolutely STOCKPILE YOUR FORTITUDE STONES. You will run out and you will have to farm them if you plan on maxing a couple characters. The maniac quest where you kill 2 griffins is very easy and drops a lot of stones for how quick and easy it is. Bonus that a lot of people are always running it so getting an online group is easy. @@pencilcheck

hello, great guide! i've got a question tho, how did you manage to hit 47k per auto in the dummy score attack? i'm running glass cannon and have +20 aa dmg cap on my mastery but barely hitting 40k per (tried overcapping atk with berserker and stuff like that but it was still 40k) edit: nvm im dumb, forgot about war ele lmao

A favorite character in the series, if her appearance here and in VS gives anyone an idea. Just like in the Relink she's mainly a tank in the gacha. Keeping to her paladin/knight motif and she is REALLY strong. Helped the captain destroy an island being thrown by them by the concept of earth. her being kind of nutty in the games is rather accurate.

I've been working with a tank/drain build for her (Tanklotta as I've dubbed it), and it's surprisingly good drain plus Charlotta works wonders. Like i can just sit within an enemies range and just tank the hit while getting my hp back at an alarming fast rate combined with LotL.

Yep with Drain(lvl30), Stout Heart, Garrison(maxed is 70% boost to defense) and Steel Resolve(15% permanent DR with Stout) you can alternate between Damage Cut and Invincibility and just ignore most mechanics. Running Terminus with DMG Cap sigils, Tyranny, Supplementary and War Elemental(if you can get it from Curios) places you pretty much at the max dmg cap. And HK's Awakening gives you Inv Procs and reduced Skill CDs. Most bosses become super easy with this Tank setup.

As a hold over until i can fully awaken her ascension weapon or farm terminus, is her Stun weapon a decent choice to build around at max lvl? Or am i better off going with the crit weapon?

How do you keep the upkeep after spinning and landing down. After I jump up, I lose noble stance. I see that you are glowing when you dodge. Edit: Oh, I can see it now. You dodged and used other skills to keep up keep and use the noble stance slashes for recharging skills to repear.

is there any special effect when 100% link reach with cahrlotta? like vane with infinite axe swing?

Any different sources of damage cut (or defense up) stack, but since they stack multiplicatvely, you get less returns the more sources you have. Two 50% dmg reductions are only really a 75% dmg reduction, since the 2nd reduction will only apply to the already reduced damage. So if you take a 100 dmg hit, it gets reduced by 50% down to 50. Then those 50 get reduced by 50% again down to 25. Though with enough sources of dmg reduction you can actually get to taking 0 dmg. There's a vid of a Vane taking 0 dmg from Baha floating around somewhere.

Tbh the first time I found Rising Cut useful was in the Gallanza/Maglielle Proud mode fight. There's so much crap flying around and at you that you pretty much activate the counter almost anytime you use the skill, which can be a nice way to avoid damage and skip past the startup combo before going into Noble Stance (when your other skills are on cooldown). Definitely not as useful until you know the fight you are in though. Anyone know if the various guard sigils (precise wrath, precise resilience, guard payback etc.) activate when using a parry skill?

you can actually cancel holy ladder before you go airborne and still get the finisher, for some reason it's the only thing you can cancel on or low to the ground and still be "airborne," no idea why

What is better for damage? Constantly combo finishing or spamming normal attack combo and only jumping if I have to?

Combo finishing. Use normal spamming attack when you have no skills left. Until Luster sigil refills skills again.

arent you already dmg capped with tyranny and stamina? does combo finisher dmg and life on the line give more dps even with tyranny and stamina?

I explain in the vid that the windmill finisher has low scaling so it doesn't damage cap usually, even with life on the line and that combo finisher I still wasn't capping it every hit.

How much HD space does the game take up currently take up on PS5. I'm really thinking of getting g it. Looks like a Lotta fun.

hm I just hold forward while dodging usually and it works, you can also hold nothing and that can help but you'll roll back

Yes, it works weird on different characters, on Rose it's basically nonfunctional for instance.

Instead of Combo Finisher, why not try Combo Booster? I am not sure if testing are done on the Finisher so we reach the caps but I've never heard of anyone else using Combo Finisher on Charlotta. Might be a new tech, I'll try to check for any damage difference.

the combo finisher is the only thing not reaching caps, so makes sense to run it. It's actually what people in the discord server use too.

Vane guide: - Get Hero's Will - Get Supplementary Dmg - Spam XXYY/SquareSquareTriangleTriangle for massive cooldown reduction from Hero's Will - Take all offensive skills (except maybe Rift Divider) - go absolutely nuts - never use the beatdown combo

supp damage procs cdr. invincibility can be spammed if full dps uptime.

the only downside to life on the line is combo booster is better, and life on the line is additive to it so better to put a different sigil along with grandeur. maybe capping that crit.

can anyone explain to me why everyone runs Tyranny/Aegis instead of just running crit dmg? same dmg bonus and no negative effect since every build runs 100% crit anyway

crit damage increase only increases the additional damage a critical hit offers so the increase isn't actually as big as you think it is. Tyranny is a more "unconditional" increase if that makes sense.

Stamina + Tyranny + Life on the line = Overkill…w/ 100% crit (which is what dps builds should be aiming for) and any 1 of the above mentioned sigils will get you to reach the dmg cap saving you valuable sigil slots #JUSSAIYAN🤷‍♂️

her windmill combo finisher still doesn't hit cap even with all of that and it's one of her biggest sources of damage, not every attack has lower or easy to reach caps.
