it sort of works without flight over fight. Sort of, but as soon as you obtain that sigil, it's so stupid. That sigil essentially makes your entire dodge window into perfect dodges. It's dark souls dodging s all over again. Wish that was the actual dodge mechanics of the game. The 50% attack reduction hurts pretty bad for the other characters but the dodge is SOOO clean. It feels right.

Thank you for the video. I was already using the steam controller settings to even be able to play Charlotta without experiencing pain on my hands, as she's one of my favorites (you can even set layers on that same interface so with the press of a button i have a profile without turbo for Io and one with for Charlotta) I actually used your sort of template and explanation for a tank build on her, i just wasn't sure how to get around the downsides from equipping flight over fight but you finally gave me the push to go and test myself. It was fairly easy to go back to cap on most of her attacks and i can even fit some provoke too. Super fun playstyle on her that i didn't expect to get from a Lancelot video 😁

German to the rescue: While W in english is mostly made by forming an almost "u" sound like in "wind" which you speak akin to "uind" the W in german is more akin to what you do to start pronouncing the letter V (like in five). IE is a "long i" like what you shout when you see something disgusting "iiiih". You do it with an open mouth and breath out while doing an "iiiiih", no "ai" to be heared for miles. lances animations being tied to fps is so funny that means during a huge fight you lose damage cause your FPS will surely dip from all the animations and effects going off lmao

Great guide as always! Already looking forward to your eventual guides on Cagliostro and Katalina since you have already covered my other favorite characters (Siegfried and Rosette). Also are you planning on making a Tier-list after you have finished all the character guides? There are so many lists already but somehow everybody has vastly differing opinions on some characters and it'd be really interesting to see your take on it.

you got Luftspiegelung and Blauer Dolch pronunciations right, actually. Or at least near enough to not matter lol. Also i did not know about the turbo setting in steam, that is a fucking life saver for me

I actually like the sba meter distribution skill, I run max uplift and max nimble so I normally get my sba up 2-3 times faster than the rest of my team, and the way I see it sba's should be used as interrupts against boss phases, so normally you end up holding it for overdrive or right after break/link attack stun. So instead of just holding it, I redistribute it to teammates and by the time I need to use it to interrupt a phase I have my sba up again, but now there's also the added benefit of prolonging the sba stun since my teammates also have sba. As you said in the video, glaciate is super strong because you can interrupt phases and prolong dps uptime, farming and filling teammates' sba is similar to that. Obviously the skill doesn't seem that impressive at first glance, if you have 0% sba it gives teammates 3%, and at max it'll eat up 30% and give 13% to each teammate, but there have been sooooo many runs I've done in co-op where a teammate just barely gets their sba in time to interrupt an overdrive phase, and it's solely because I used that skill to help fill their meter. As an example, I like to run a lot of maglielle and gallanza in coop just cause it's fun to do. I start off with sba skill to give everyone 3%, then immune dash attack dps gallanza until link attack, he's goes into overdrive and stun him with glaciate, then by the time he goes to the middle to do his fire attack I already have around 80-90% sba and my skill is up again, so I distribute it again and keep farming sba through his fire attack (which btw you're doing almost no damage to him in phases like these anyway since they get massive def buffs, so might as well just focus on sba farming for the team), his fire attack ends and we break him, by the time his fire attack ends I always have my sba up again, I sba as soon as break ends to stop him from going to the middle and doing that long attack he does with maglielle, THEN because I farmed sba for my teammates a lot of times they'll just barely be able to follow up, and this usually ends up with us just straight up killing him. And then maglielle is just a cake walk from that point, usually what ends up happening is we full sba and kill gallanza, then we link time on maglielle, I spam my sba skill whenever it comes up and usually my team will be able to 3 burst and kill her right as link time ends, and if we somehow don't kill her I usually get my sba at the end of the 3 burst and kill her with that. Tldr I farm sba for my team and we skip every boss phase cause of it, cause without the sba distribution skill there's no way my teammates would have enough sba gauge to full burst and keep the dps window going, also not that it matters but you always get mvp if you use that skill

this is easily the best character to use glass cannon on

Quick cooldown has less value if you are running cascade and other skill cool down sigils and cascade works really well with supplementary damage so getting full level cascade might be better. I would also recommend getting full level of uplift since Lancelot’s Y attack gives a lot of SBA gauge and you sometimes might even get your SBA faster than a optimised Ferry.

Amazing guide and having a lot of fun with this build. Should I hold off on flight over flight until i have all the supplemental damage sigils? I’m only at 17000 power and my damage is awful despite my uptime. This is with terminus weapon and all the sigils except supplementary. Also when is the best time to use southern cross and combo finisher. I find myself mostly spamming the normal slash slash attack.

combo finisher and as such skills are best used when you have to ability to use a skill or link attack immediately after the combo finisher so you can go right back into your flurry. This build definitely wants more maxed out gear so yeah don't do the flight over fight yet

Any team recommendations for lancelot? Currently running Sieg-Cag-Eugen with him

needing to turn on turbo mode and turn up the frame rate to play lancelot optimally, we are hitting never before seen levels of unseriousness (it's peak)

I hope you can test and share your findings re: combo, skill, and crit increasing sigils in relation to the damage cap. The game is frustratingly opaque about damage increases and the damage cap even though it's its main way of padding our progression. For example, if you equip Tyranny, you can immediately see its quantitative effect on your attack power. But there's no indicator for equipping Stamina. But mainly, I want to know just how encompassing of a ceiling the damage cap is. If you're capped, does it mean that your crit hit will be the same as your regular hit? Same with skills and weak point damage (another vague modifier). Because if normal attacks hit as hard as crits and weak point when you're capped, then there's no point running crit and weak point and the "optimal" build would be to prioritize maxing out stun power once you're capped. That way, you cap on both damage and stun.

critical hit rate is still worth running cause it's a multiplicative double damage compared to everything else so it's one of the easiest ways to cap, but yeah it's the same cap whether crit or not.

How much more damage is this than the twin blade dance true immortal build? Seems like the same playstyle (hold down turbo button) except that one is auto immortal meaning you dont have to manually dodge ever

If you arenr getting hit at all, why not just slot in glass cannon to raise thr cap further? Do you still get dazed even if you are invulnerable?

I'm happy this guide has come out. I'm sad that I click with Lancelot more than any other character, he's so boring. Bonus points for showing his cheese build though.

started as Lancelot moved to Yodarha. A little bit similar. While having a tiny bit more depth. and give ur team invulnerability is nice😊

I'm Austrian and I really love how people try to pronounce the German words in this game. I think it's funny but not in a bad/disrespectful way. I appreciate the effort. In other words, for all the English speaking gentle-men/women: Nobody is gonna be pissed about you butchering the words. Try your best and have a laugh afterwards.

@@loganperes2515 I do that extreme quest for afk, but when I'm down to play manually and need more, I do the "2 bosses on maniac difficulty (griffin, Nazarbonju or goblin warriors). They drop 30 large crystals each run." from a reddit post. Personally, I like running the double *Nazarbonju* more because I feel like there's less running around to get to the boss compared to the 2x griffins and goblin warriors.

the 2 griffon quest is a good one. I calc'd its like ~850 large crystals to have enough to get a single characters weapons all to 150 griffs give 28-34 every run. so it takes ~28 runs to have enough for one character. 28 runs probably 'only' takes an hour. Itll wear down your sanity tho

How do you decide between continue spamming X and pressing Y for finisher?
