I’ve worked hard to get to level 43 naturally before this and after doing countless $10k-$100k races, I knew I deserved better especially going through such a mediocre story mode. Thank you.

Did you use a standard car ?

Switch the motion controls for steering and just prop the left side of the controller up onto something ~1/8” thick. Works like a charm and no potential for stick drift.

@@fossilfueled27this might be harder for them to patch tho since it uses the garage vehicles as an opponent so unless they patch the vehicles gear ratios it might take them a while to figure out a solution like the old tomahawk 600 pp method that you mentioned, also I used to use the escudo v6 600 pp method for the Tokyo expressway, but I just sold it yesterday for the tomahawk, now this is my main method for making money

The tip to erase mileage works irl too. I always look at the settings for my real life car after a long trip. I haven’t changed oil in years!

Tips for this event: #1: get 3 zip ties. I make a loop with one, & slide it around my coffee table leg. (Do whatever works for you.) Make a loop with 2nd zip tie. Connect the zip ties with 3rd zip tie. Now place controller on floor & loop 3rd zip tie over left thumbstick. Now you can slide controller on floor until the thumbstick is just BARELY pulling to the right. #2: Turn vibration off. This way your controller won’t vibrate & move around floor. Plus it extends the life of controller. #3: use rubber band on right trigger without looping it over right thumbstick. That way, you can see 3rd person view properly 100% of the time. Dude thank you so much for making this video!! My grind is so much easier now.

Dude! I love this. I put 50 laps and should get around 1.8 with CRL. I tried doing the 1 hour endurance (2 cars only) and parking to the side and coming back after 59 minutes to cross the finish line and get 600k for 2nd. But it didn't pay anything. Maybe it knew I wasn't doing laps. I can try it again with the rubber band and get 1st place. Sweet.

You need to travel at least 60% of the distance or something like that of your opponents to get any payout

The greatest middle finger to deliver to the game. My strong suggestion to anyone new to it, use this as much as you can before this gets treated. Best answer to give when they spiked the P4's price from 9.5 million to 20 million cr.

The existence of this method IS the fix for how bad this game's credit earning has been compared to GTS.

I found using a steering wheel easier because i just put a weight on the gas pedal and turned off FFB so the wheel doesnt move back 👍

Quick tip, if you have 2 controllers: Use the normal to menus, start race and pause. Next connect the ALWAYS rubberband controller to switch for the normal controller and voila. You dont need to take off rubbers till patch 😂🫂 Edit: on the ALWAYS rubber band controller, you just have to press R2 on the opposite direction as usual, to make the controller start working again after reconnect it. You don't even need to touch in rubbers

@@AvBonzo First off u don't specifcally need the Abarth. The whole concept of the glitch is having a car that is low PP stock that can be engine swapped to become fast. So the Abarth 595 as the vid suggests is an example, u can do the Jeep Willy's with the Hellcat swap, u can do the Suzuki Cappuccino with the K20 swap or whatever swap it offers i forgot.. U can do the old 50s-60s VW Beetle or Samba Bus with the Porsche engine swap and such. Now, how to know if u have an engine swap available? First go to your garage and select one of the cars mentioned, then go to the menu at the bottom and select the "Tuning Parts" option next to "Gifts" in your garage. In the Tuning Parts menu you'd be able to see what engine swaps you have earned and if compatible to your car or not. Even other parts that you earn from roulettes are shown there and you can select whatever and move forward from there. Multiple videos available on these cars each with different tunes and methods so pick one and follow! REMARK: to earn most money from the glitch u need to have Gold medals on ALL circuit experiences of the TRACK you're driving on, being Daytona. Also, to find engine swaps, it's easier when you're level 50 where you can purchase them for any car through the auto shop. Hope this helps! Lmk if u have any other question(s).

Upgrade your rubber band to a PC. With remote play and a macro, this can be looped indefinitely... Only having to reset the macro each night after gaining the voucher. $3m/hr, $70m+/day.

That game was the absolute best. I've been watching a channel called Automobilistic who does mini documentaries on cars with GT music in the background, highly recommend :)

Change the throttle controls to R3 instead of camera Get the L3 a bond with under R2 & L2. Get the red dot just barely to the right and here is the perfect set up fo u to grind probably It's said that 25 laps is the best pay. One last note don't hit to any car at the beginning that u don't lose the bonus Don't try again cuz u'll not get the bonus twice. the first time I tried this my car ended up in the pits & was stuck there waiting for me choose tyres, I had the TV screen off as I was working, I finished last 😩 The next time I tried I turned on steering assist which kept the car on the track more. I saw that someone had 2 rubbers bands on the controller, 1 to keep the car turned right but this doesn't work as the car just stalls into the wall, steering assist works much better 😀

Use what you got in the garage. I got the ZL1 Camaro and one of the Porsches. Detuned the Porsche and let the Camaro run. Sucks because it's all over the track but I ain't touching it. I only get like 74k but that's better than the Tokyo one wishing for a clean bonus

And now I can't put it down haha. I had it on the R/L3 buttons. And wedged on my end table. But it would go into the pit, middle of the track etc etc. Rubberbands are working really good. Not going over 100, but I'm getting the clean bonus. Having it propped up, I would always hit the other cars

@@burtmichaels2676 The rubber band is making your car turn quite far to the right which is why it can't get past 100. If you can use motion controls or something to wedge the analogue stick so it's turning more gently into the wall, it can go faster.

I did try it, but because the rubber band steers the car into the wall, having grippier front tyres creates more resistance and makes the car actually go slightly slower. Sports tyres are much better if you're not using rubber bands and doing this manually, though. You can go about 10 seconds faster per lap, making this even faster.

1988 Silvia Q's. No engine swaps required. Tuned up to 330bhp, it can easily do 180mph. It won't win as much money as the Abarth but it's a great option in the meantime. I'll be uploading a video in the next day or two on it.

If you set the setting to place car back on track can you do 200 laps afk and win the car spins off track after 34 laps or so???????

Payouts are worse for 200 laps. After 26 laps the pay drops for each extra lap.

That''s not really how stick drift works. In terms of wear and tear, it's constant movement that gradually wears out the components, ie, moving it left to right, up down, etc, repeatedly. Not holding it in one place. Though the majority of stick drift is caused by contaminants (dust, dead skin, hairs, etc) getting inside the components and interfering with the potentiometers, which careful cleaning can resolve.

If you have no engine swaps, a good alternative is the Nissan Silvia Q's from 1988. Once tuned up, it can average 180mph, though the payouts are less, it's still more lucrative than the Tokyo 600PP race. I believe there's currently one in the used dealer.

Any car with a high PP rating will give good payouts as long as you nerf the gear ratios, but the Tomahawk is the fastest car in the game, so gives the best payouts. Just use the car with the highest PP in your garage until you can afford a Tomahawk. Though the Tomahawk will pay itself back in 20 minutes.

If you put 200 laps and leave it overnight it's like so much money

The payout is based on your car's PP rating when stock, so any car that has high tuning potential works well. Muscle cars are a good example because their stock tyres give them low PP ratings, but they can be tuned to crazy BHP outputs. Alternatively the Willys Jeep is in the lowest category (so highest payouts) and even without an engine swap it can still get around 200BHP, more than enough to win.

as long as you can go above the highest speed your opponent car can go! I endedup grinding with the jeep and a sylvia instead and got 350K. Saved up for vgt and now I get 1 mil race ( 26 laps)

The K20C engine can be bought once you hit level 50, from GT Auto where you get the widebody. The Abarth has a higher top speed due to being more aerodynamic, and being smaller, it's less likely to hit the AI cars. But, it's less stable.

Once you hit collector level 50, you can buy engine swaps. Do you have any Porsche engines or Hellcat engines? If so, they can be swapped into the Beetle, Samba bus and Willys Jeep to be viable alternatives.

The weakest car that was fitted with a different engine (RX7) was the Suzuki Capuccino. I don't have any matching engine for the Beetle, Samba and Jeep :( Is it possible to buy a Honda engine or is it only available in a draw?

If you have an Abarth 595, take it to GT Auto, where you would normally change oil, fit a widebody etc. Below it should be an option for an engine swap. Costs about 150k from memory. There is also a thread on the GTPlanet forum with a list of cars that have swaps available ("engine swap compatibility thread") if you ever wanted to find out.

@@vincefrommenton No. there has been an update for GT7 since this video released that reduced payouts for this method. I have another video featuring the Honda Beat with the new best method.

You don't "need" the SRT Tomahawk that costs 1M credits to purchase...you can get the same payout with the free Red Bull X2019 race car. Set it up the same with the top speed ridiculously low by

The two times I tried doing this afk my car ran into another, one time I just didn't get the clean race bonus the other time my car got stuck on the wall.

Sometimes this does happen. Usually the Abarth is small enough to squeeze through the gap the AI cars leave but it works for me 9/10 times.

@@fossilfueled27 it worked three times now! I was very unlucky the first two tries. My Abarth even clipped one of the srt's in round 28 of one race and it still counted as clean! 😁

I put on more laps and the pay keeps going up? Is this a glitch orrrr what’s up with mine

The pay goes up by slightly less for each extra lap after 26.

How can you get that K20C engine 😢 I still don’t have it.

same :( I use Suzuki Sappuccino + RX7 engine, it gives about 630k kr per 20 laps

Once you hit collector level 50, you can buy it. If not, any car that starts off slow but can be tuned heavily is viable. The Willys Jeep without an engine swap can get semi-decent power once tuned up. It's much slower than the K20 Abarth or Hellcat Jeep but it's still a good option for those who don't have the right engine swaps.

Does anyone have a good car to use that doesn’t require an engine swap?

I've just uploaded a video with a list of alternative cars. My main recommendation is the 1988 Silvia Q's

The rewards for 26 laps its a way lower ... 699.900 for 26 laps... Whats wrong ? Same cars and the setup and same Race settings... Help !

I tried it from a different tutorial but my car only does wheelies lol, even when in auto drive at the start it does a roll.

Stiffening the spring rate and lowering the ride height will help prevent the car pulling a wheelie. Longer gearing might also help.

I am doing it atm and it is 8 seconds per lap faster. For like 7 laps so about a minute saved.

​@GT_racing_by_Hidde the method shown is an afk method. Naturally it would be faster to drive it yourself. The advantage is you can set this up and go do something, make something to eat maybe even eat it, and it will be rewarding you with 1 mil credits.

Someone should create a Macro so that the race restarts itself automatically and this would work overnight.

How do you avoid grinding yourself to a halt against the wall? I get up to speed, place the rubber bands and let go. The car gets up tight against the wall and quickly grinds itself to a stop. What am I doing wrong?

Are you turning into the wall too much? You only need to have the steering turned slightly too the right. Too much and you'll generate too much resistance.

@@Bladecutter I use a pretty weak band. I had a bag of assorted elastic bands and just found the right combination. Alternatively, you could use blu-tak/power-tak to wedge the analogue stick slightly to the right instead of a band.

I would recommend the Nissan Silvia Q's '88. tuned to 300bhp it can easily do 180mph. Payouts won't be as high, though.

@@AvBonzo what do you mean by “specific k20c engine” ? If you meant that have a k20c engine from roulette tickets, then you can simply change to the Abarth 595, then on the garage menu, select “Tuning Parts” you can do an engine swap there Otherwise in GT Auto on the very last bottom selection there is an engine swap option for around 250K, but if your collector level is under 50, then you can’t use the GT auto method and have to rely on luck with roulette tickets otherwise level up to collector 50

Make sure fiat fully tuned, make sure you own tomohawk vgt,go onto nurburgring 24hr so longest version layout, put select to garage, difficulty on professional make sure the tomohawk is all gear ratios are to the far left as possible including final gear,so they barely go that fast at all they are like donkeys in corners so you lap them easily i recommend put 3 laps,in select to garage put 19 of them the tomohawks and your fiat as your selected car last place 20th,make sure buy tomohawk fully customizable gear box transmission, please note more bonus money depending on what you collecter level and circuit experience is at,and the rest of custom settings is easy you'll figure that bit out like for example your wheather time of day and others things too make sure to save it!
