This weeks dailies have been the best in a while imo and have helped me to almost reach driver A (despite dirty drivers)

Be prepared when you reach A to be humbled. My qualifying time was 1:45.3ish which would have earned me pole position in the lobby in this video. Well that got me 16th place in the races I tried today and I finished dead last. You need 1:44s in qualifying and low 1:45s in the race to have the slightest chance against those A+ or A drivers.

Agreed, its a rough jump. Would expect mixed A/B lobbies but just goes from all B to A/A+ combined. My quali is the same as yours. I chose to not bother this week haha. I knew I was off the pace.

I don’t expect to get far in licence A but I can only hope 😂. For months I have been hopping in and out of B/C and this week seems to have worked somehow 😅

@@carltildsley3213 Well Daytona seem to be extra punishing because you get no slipstream if you are off the pace. Other races I've been able to compete a whole lot better. Hey keep it up. I was really happy when I got A :)

Had Gt7 for about two months, sold it cause it's just a punt fest. Unfortunately on Jan 31 GtSport ends online play so I may have to commit to it. I love Sim racing and have been thanked for my fair play repeatedly, am a TCR member. It does shit me to tears that nothing is done about these repeat punt offenders. Don't stop doing what your doing. You race clean, so nobody can question your integrity. Hope your channel grows beyond all your expectations. From the colonies, Australia, all the best.

Defo worth giving Tidgney's video on fuel saving a watch - fuel maps are basically useless GT7, the best method is short shifting like in the McLaren. The Ford Race Spec II runs the fastest laps on FM3, but it doesn't save much fuel. The only car that burns more is the Corvette Gr.3, but it's slower.

Honestly, it’s taken hours on the game to get quicker, so I’m at least quicker than the backmarkers to catch up again. Also a lot of it is players making mistakes 🤦🏼‍♀️ keep at it! And hopefully lobbies get cleaner 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I feel like a lot of Forza regulars are putting more time into Gran Turismo nowadays, because recently, even the game devs themselves have said that the game is....sort of a mess. I just finished doing a dozen or so Dragon Trail Dailies, and it was just sad how poor the driving was. I don't usually do it unless the driving etiquette gets extremely poor, but even I had to get my elbows out. Dropped to A rank SR because people kept on dying at the chicane, and there was nothing I could do to avoid them because I was right behind them, along with guys causing absolute chaos going into the backs of drivers just trying to enjoy a good race.

Sad you had to endure the dirty moments in the race . Too split barely had any contact and the race craft was a sight to behold. Hope you get some more clean races before we move on to next week. This is my hometown track I live 10 minutes away from the real Daytona International Speedway and it's always a treat to get this race for a daily.

B lobbies are dirtier than C

If you spend a few hours watching someone like SuperGT or Errieess and focus on learning racecraft it will help you a heap.

Why do you drive with the extra perks all on? TCS, brake lines? You look like a good driver...TCS will slow you down, if it's off you will get more feeling of the car. You're video's are fun to watch, don't see it as an attack 😊 just a question 🎉

I don’t honestly don’t see it as extra perks… braking markers became a necessity after losing my sight in my left eye 😞 (right eye sucks too) TC depends on the car, it’s on one with GT3’s but try without in GT4’s, just depends 🏁

The view you use is the hardest view to proper share the road and judge braking points or turn in points. You should put on the radar and have a glance once in a while. I prefer cabin view but it’s hard to share the road properly that way. chase cam will improve your finish positions.

Chase cam is good for seeing what's around you for sure, but everyone is different. I've always used bumpercam in racing games like this as you get the best view for braking points and the best sense of speed.

I’m finding GT7 is worse than motorsport at the moment for dirty driving , love motorsport, and yes I have both platforms

Thats a bold clame. How many female gt7 streamers do you see got to be less than 10% and same within races probably 1-2 female drivers in a race.....looks like a jealous comment to me 🤔
