I wanted a 4-liner No Date Sub for a daily driver. Until I put on a 16600 1998 Swiss only dial SEA DWELLER. It’s the ultimate. Nothing else like it. I love it.

I have exactly those 2 watches both from 2007 in mint condition and what a joy it is to wear them. The seamaster though is a lot more comfortable as it seats lower on the wrist but the sea dweller is a knock out more luxurious and hefty, cheers!!

Im in the same boat. This is my exact collection. Surprising that they both weigh the same. Sd seems heavier because the weight is all in the head. Its like a hammer on the wrist. Both are good values. The sd feels like a watch that should cost 3x the seamaster.. which it does

Great piece! I just got mine back from service which ended up getting held for months during covid lockdown. It’s been so long it’s like getting a new watch haha! Anyhow cheers and enjoy!

Have a 2008 one. These 16600s are very good value since they have hardly increased in price in 5 years.

i just watched your video on your "grail" submariner and followed it up with this video. no less than a week later and you flipped your sub. that is why i take what you watch reviewers say with a grain of salt. "the best watch you have ever seen" is gone by the next video! still enjoy the content.

The comfort of the watch comes from the weight not dimensions. 40mm platinum would be a brick on the wrist. What's the weight of this piece?

You calipers were not reset, it measures at 14.3mm as you calipers read -1mm :D

Yes. I caught that too.

Dude, your measurements were wrong. You did not zero out the calipers. You had a -1.0 reading. You need to add 1.0 mm to all your readings.
