Grafting a Tigertooth Jujube - with results!

Last year, I pulled a sucker from my potted jujube tree and dropped it into a cup of soil. That sucker rooted and I put it into a 1 gal pot and it grew until it went dormant in the winter. I obtained some Tigertooth scions and decided to graft over it today.
Grafting is deceptively easy and I encourage everybody to try it if you're interested! I use a knife from Amazon and buddy tape to wrap the scion.

@@GrowsGoneWild you did great! Jujube is really easy if your timing is right. They make butt ugly graft unions though lol

@@VirginiaFruitGrower thanks! I started grafting last year during summer and am finding the spring timing to help a lot in my success rates.

Did you add more buddy tape later? It looks like there was tape all the way to the top.

I actually pre wrapped the entire scion with buddy tape before storing in the fridge. I clean and wrap all my scions this way 😉
