IMPORTANT NOTE: This sprayer works great IF the paint is rated for it. Special primers like a bond need to be thinned out to meet the .015 pressure rating for this. What this means is that if you have a gallon of Sherwin Williams DTM Bond paint rated at 2k PSI, you'd want to water down by 25% to meet the consistency allowed for this sprayer. Look at the rating of your paints when you have a sprayer - I learned the hard way.

Just bought one for the kitc cabinets. Perfect video.

I just used my 360 DS for the first time this weekend. I did touch up on exterior walls (on stucco) and painting an Adirondack chair. It was great for painting the house, but I noticed there were globs of paint and drips with the primer. Maybe the primer was too thick? I sprayed it in my backyard and noticed there was a good amount of overspray on the low mode, like dirt up to 4-5 feet was white. Could just be the wind was blowing in that direction. I like the sprayer even though it’s definitely not for fine finishing small projects.

Can you tell me which corded airless sprayer being used? I’m looking at either the 360 DSP or 360 VSP. I feel the vsp would help since I’d like to use different types of liquids for it i.e. stains or paints probably needing different pressures. Only reason i haven’t purchased is I’m worried it won’t work with latex or acrylic paint Loved the video! 🙏🏼🙌🏼

Could you please explain when do you use high and low mode?

How do these portable airless guns lay down gloss colors? I used to paint cars,so if spray something glossy. It MUST be glossy and smooth. No orange peel.

Does it leave orange peel texture or fine finish? With a light sanding maybe for smoother finish

Does the glue from the tape affect the areas painted? And does the plastic paint holder need to be replaced after each fill?

How long is the pump rated for on this corded unit?

Thanks for the work flow video. I've been on the fence about getting one of these for doors and cabinets etc. Looks like it may save a bit of time. I'm surprised you didn't BIN the knots. Is it not that a problem if they show?

Will it work with 2-1 paint with primer like the ones from behr ? And how would this sprayer work on exterior doors and garage doors will it overspray on to cars parked on on road

No concern for overspray on cars that are a reasonable proximity away. And yes, it’ll spray that

Dry fall paint

I need some guidance and can’t find my answer. I wanted to spray my basement ceiling flat black. But I tested my gun last summer using both tips the gun came with on a door. The amount of overspray and mist would make an absolute mess to the point I decided to paint the ceiling by hand. I see people spraying indoors often but they look to have minimal overspray. I have a 3k gym floor and a lot of equipment to cover but I’m worried if my taping off isn’t perfect I’ll end up with the mess. Any tips ? Different spraying nozzle ? Water paint down ? I have the vsp. Thanks all

Yes. You will end up with a mess 💯. If you’re gonna spray inside, anywhere that isnd covered will have a fine mist of overspray on it. It won’t all directly bond meaning you can clean it off easily but be prepared to have a lot of cleanup if not covered and taped at the seams.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of others using this to spray chalk paint. Perhaps this one and consult with a paint shop on what tip to use.

In order Yes. No. No. Sometimes. Some spray guns can't spray latex therefore it needs water to be thin , oil paints need paint thinner

Probably don't need the answer, but for anyone looking-In theory, yes. In reality, it always partially clogs and you end up with drips that need to smoothed. Rolling those out is still way faster than rolling a whole room though.

@fixitnow what were the dimensions of that room and how much paint did you use. Considering buying one but it looked like it used a ton of paint???

I just purchases this at Home Depot but now regretting maybe I should’ve spend the extra $$ on Greco Magnum instead? My purpose is really for the whole house like walls, trims, doors , cabinets, but in future I was thinking maybe outside my house too. For what I plan to use this, is the Greco vsp good enough or should I return for the Magnum instead?

If you're doing a whole house the Graco Magnum line is the way to go. The Truecoat 360 is really great for doing small projects like cabinets, furniture, etc. They could do a whole room but because of the small tank you'd be refilling the tank frequently. If you're doing your own house as a DIY (inside and out) the Magnum project painter plus is perfect for that type of job. If you paint more frequently or even as a small side gig the X5 or even x7 maybe a better option. If you're a pro and paint as a career then go with the pro series.

Does the paint need to be thinned with water ? What’s the size of the room ?

It’s just flat paint on wood my man. Hard to make that video with one person. Camera mounted to my hat and it’s very misty

​@@dha588 I cleaned it out after the first use. Stopped working properly on the 2nd use. I will give it one more chance only because I bought the warranty. When I returned the last one, I opened a new box to make sure everything was there, and the white nozzle was missing, so I took another box. And FYI, there are water droplets in every box from the factory.

Just use a real rig like a 395 or 495 and put a fine filter and fine finish tip on and turn the pressure way down and you can do this job better and faster dont have to stop and reload paint, the guns not as heavy or loud. This thing might be good for doing cabinets or something but I would of had this whole little closet here sprayed out already. You take way too long. You're fired bro.

Thanks for recording this I guess, but painting white over white demonstrates NOTHING. Can't see coverage. Can't see overspray. Can't even really see the painting coming out of the sprayer because the paint is white and the background is white. I'm confused why you bothered.
