    I just started using this same setup i have had the PC 390 for years bought the pressure roller couple weeks ago for painting a whole apartments and i just love it. i had the issue of the paint spurts but i just turn down the pressure a little and it helped a lot i would recommend the 3/4 inch nap tho.

    Pressure roller fan here. Are use one every day on jobs with multiple rooms. My typical job will be 5 to 12 rooms. On a 10 day job the pressure roller will save me 2 1/2 days. The in-line gun itself is $200 and is well worth it. You can really develop some wrist and forearm problems without it. You might want to investigate putting the optional hopper kit on your 390. It makes it so much easier to move that machine around the room not being attached to a 5 gallon pail.

    Thanks for the info. I agree about the online gun I just don’t use this much at all so I didn’t buy it. I’ve been using a roll around dolly with some plywood on it to make it easier to move the machine with a bucket lol. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for the video and great advices! So actually using the roller attached directly to the airless sprayer mean there is little to none dropping around so no need to cover the entire floor. How does it look like when doing the ceiling? I wouldn't want to cover my entire floor so hopefully there I no dropping there either... ? Thank you! :)

  • @MattFreytag

    @MattFreytag

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yeah thanks a bunch for watching! I would still recommend covering floor because a fine spray of paint can come off of any roller when painting. But you are right there won’t be any dripping unless you just hold down the trigger and don’t roll.

  • @chrisgraham2904
    @chrisgraham29044 жыл бұрын

    The head or the manifold on this roller is the same design and quality as the one provided on the Wagner "Magic Stick" and the Graco "Paint Stik" and several other manufacturers and they sells for less than $50 dollars. Even with adequate lubrication, as recommended, the rubber seals start to leak and drip after the assembly has been used to paint 6 to 8 rooms at most. This makes the roller unusable until the seals are replaced. The replacement seals, or a seal kit, are not sold by the retailers. I've had to order the seals as "replacement parts" directly from the manufacturer and they can take a few weeks to arrive. Someone suggested lubricating the seals with silicone lube rather than the petroleum jelly recommended by the manufacturer. Have you experienced this problem?

  • @MattFreytag

    @MattFreytag

    Chris Graham Thanks for the input! I have not experienced any of those problems yet. I have only painted one house with this roller so far. I will let you know if I have problems I know the future.

    The line is definitely awkward. I always wanted to try the whip. I guess the pressure is so high on these that you have to use such a hard and stiff hose. I don’t have experience with the whip to tell you. Thanks for watching.
