Graceland - The Home of Elvis Presley - Full Tour - Mansion, Museum, Cars & Planes
In today's video we're taking you along to Graceland, the home of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley!
Located in Memphis, Tennessee, Elvis Presley purchased Graceland in 1957 at the height of his career and lived here until his untimely death in 1977, here you will also find his grave alongside a number of his family members including mother, father, grandmother, daughter and grandson.
Graceland is split into a number of areas, you have the main Mansion, this is the home itself, a small quaint unassuming house on a large amount of land, we tour the 1st floor and basement, the 2nd floor is off limits to respect Elvis' wishes from when he was alive.
We have the chance to look around some of the grounds and the graves as mentioned before we head over to the museum.
At the museum we have the chance to see a lot of Elvis' car collection as well as a number of other motor vehicles when we first enter the building, as we make our way around the complex we see more and more artefacts from Elvis' personal life and career. There's a lot of memorabilia that is still not on display here and filed away. We take a walk through Elvis' career both at home and his time in the army documenting when we was drafted.
As we continue through the complex we have the chance to see a lot of memorabilia related to his music career from the start at Sun Records all the way through to his final years with many of his iconic outfits on display as well as his musical awards.
One of the final areas we see in the museum is the walkthrough of the Elvis biographical film. Here you can take a look at some of the sets and costumes from the film starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks.
Finally we sit down in Gladys' diner where we get a bite to eat before we head over to see 2 of Elvis' planes that are on display.

This is somewhere I would love to visit but probably won’t so thank you so much for this very detailed and informative vlog. A piece of history definitely to be remembered. Always remember the day Elvis died,I was 13 and on holiday with my family in The Isle of Wight! I will definitely be rewatching this again. Thank you.

What an amazing place to visit and observe all the details of his history too. So still so sad Lisa Marie left us so soon too. I'll cherish her memory forever since we both have the same bday. ❤❤❤❤

Hey! Thanks for watching ☺️ we did Orlando for a week and then flew to Memphis (via Atlanta as no direct flight on the day we needed), we then had to drive from Memphis to Pigeon Forge as it was the last day of the season for Dollywood when we wanted to go and then back to Nashville before Atlanta and a day in Tampa before flying back to the UK, a complicated itinerary 😂
