I was in love with Elvis growing up. I was 12 and wrote him a letter in 1969 telling him I wanted to marry him lol. I drew a picture of him with a guitar. He took a page of my original letter and sent it back to me with his autograph ❤️. I have it to this day. It’s priceless to me.

Just discovered this....what a lovely lovely insight into graceland and got chills when they show Lisa Marie's signature from childhood as the world is in shock at her sudden and sad passing. She is about to be buried next to her iconic father and grandparents and beloved son at graceland. I hope and pray her children can take as such great care of graceland's future as she did and may they all be reunited and rest in peace 🙏 xx❤️❤️🏴

My very favorite part of this video is the photo of Gladys fixing her hat in the mirror and the gorgeous photos of Elvis in the music room. The whole video is emotional to watch. I need to be able to visit Graceland.
I'm 82 now, & visiting Graceland is on my "bucket" list! He died on Aug.16th/1977, our wedding anniversary, so my wife & I loved to dance to any songs bu ELVIS! Chet(Ontario),
I visited Graceland's for the very first time in November 2014 from Sydney Australia. It was my once in a life time dream holiday, which I found in some strange feeling a little closer to Elvis after my trip to Memphis had came to an end. As I first entered the doors sometime after 1:00pm and made my way through, which to be honest leaves you feeling surreal. On completion I was taking photo's out front when a lady who worked there asked if had been through, I replied " yes had thank you and that I just need sometime to take it all in". Well she said "why don't you take another wander through, you still have time & you can walk through as many times as you like". There was a little voice inside which said, "go ahead Matt come take another wander" & so I did just that. As i walked through on my 2nd tour, it wasn't until I was halfway through where i realized I was the only person left in the entire place. Knowing just that, a feeling as though it was a private tour just for me was something I know I would never ever forget, even if I was lucky to return one day I would never have that private time. To top it off I was the only one left walking through the planes and the cars, I just thought to myself. Matt somebody up there loves you. I found Memphis gave me a warm feeling, which in some strange way made it hard to let go and say goodbye. I met some many lovely Americans who lived there, all were generous, helpful and caring. Even Sun Studios, there is a magical vibe there which in all honesty, you can feel the presence of Elvis and Rock n Roll, its still alive. Memphis had it all, Uncle Lou's fried chicken, Lansky's where I bought the same race jacket Elvis wore in his movies & basically was the clothier to the King, there are cool bars and Blues music. I even walked through the colored neighborhoods and had a hair cut at one of the barbers, boy was that a funny story. It was awesome like something out of the movies. If you ever get the chance, go and experience it all.
I live in the UK and have loved Elvis since I was very young, he died the day I passed my driving test I will never forget, I cried so much. His voice was so different, beautiful in fact. Elvis lives on in all of his fans he will never be forgotten.
You can see how Angie Marchese really loves her job. She's got quite a personality and adds a certain something to the video. She's a nice lady.

Connection to Elvis aside, how awesome would it be to be able to go back to the home you grew up in, and decades later cook a Holiday dinner for your children and/or grandchildren in a kitchen still perfectly preserved the way it was when you were a kid, down to your adolecent self's scribbling in the drawer.

I went to Graceland with my husband in 1996. Elvis's horses were still there. I don't know when they died , but it was pretty cool to see them.
I’ll never forget sneaking up to the front row on my 3rd concert visit & he reached down and touched me. Remember exactly where I was standing & what I was doing when I heard he had passed on the radio. I was a very young teenager & it cut to my core. I absolutely loved Elvis. He was bigger than life. My only regret was not being able to go into Graceland, as he was there the only time we visited.
