This hit home for me. When my Grandma died, we went and collected things from her home. I have her dresser, her perfume mirror, vintage hair dryer, combs, and her monogrammed etched dish... filled with her buttons, safety pins, crucifix & Bobby pins. I even have her container of powder with application floof 🥰 I left it all intact too. Shows just how cherished she was. I often wonder who packed up all her things while everyone was in Germany with him. Did they lock up the home? Pay for someone to stay or did Billy Smith and his parents stay there to take care of all Glady's animals.

This video was a joy to watch. I love Angie Marchese and Tom Brown. The little box with Minnie Mae treasure trove brought so many memories of my grandma and mother. The little tubes of lipstick were samples from Avon. The Avon lady came and gave you samples of lipstick, perfume, bubble bath. I remember playing with the sample lipsticks. There was the buttons, safety pins, bobby pins, a hair net, sewing needles, thread on a bobbin. In thr kitchen I noticed there was a sink garbage disposal because the top was laying on the ledge at the back if the sink. Wonderful back then for the women working in the kitchen to be able to flush potato, carrot peelings etc down the garbeurator. Elvis thought of everything. The love that man had for his grandma to literally bring a new horse in to show her. Dodger was a real lady who was humble, had a hard life and she loved the Lord. The pictures of Elvis in her room shows how she loved him. Thank you again for the memories. NO ONE can take them away.

Those aren't travel size lipsticks they're Avon samples. I immediately recognized them because the Avon lady came to our house regularly until my mother started selling Avon herself.I wonder when they stopped using them.

What a fun job. Thanks for sharing the interesting details, I have always loved him even as a kid since we always watched his movies back in the 70s it seemed like they were always on, I was about 5 or so when he died, I felt sad even though I didn't really understand. I saw Graceland back in 94, only at a distance and it was amazing. I hope to take a close up tour someday, I would love it.
