-------------------------
Missed your call for three days straight now
I’m sure I must have left your wondering
I lost myself for three months running
I’m starting to not recognize myself again
All the things I said to you back then
All the lies, yet I guess I’m coming clean
See, the truth is that I’m a bad person
So I told you I loved you so that you would say you loved me
I’m starving, I’m shrinking, I’m turning
Smoke that’s in my mirror
That person is not me at all
My pillows, they’re talking
They’re telling me off
Oh, they know, they know, they know, they know, they know
Was gonna tell you but it felt so good
So good
So good
So good
Yeah
I should have stopped you but it felt too good
And I could, and i should, no, I could
And I tried but I lied when I missed it all
Cause I did when you cried so I didn’t
Was gonna tell you but it felt so good
I’m sitting here tonight darling
And you still got a memory in here
Parts of you are kept in this moment
Maybe I'd have let you need escape
I'm starving, I'm shrinking, I'm turning
Smoke that’s in your questions
They’re burning and turning to smoke

This version is quite nice. Just think, at that antisocial club she had all these people who could play musical instruments expertly, and what does she go and do? ... She makes a signature song with all of these live instruments...Oh that is just so very cool!

Mr. Wilson, my ears hear in that section of horns, a wee bit of the Grace sarcasm. Every time I hear it, I start laughing.

@@thebeanpot-Very interesting Sir. In a lot of her songs I hear a bit of sarcasm, or in the visuals, a hint of a smile, where she can barely conceal HER laughter... She's playing us all. 😂And don't we just love it? 💖

@@thebeanpot- i just posted this over an hour Discord GV Clubhouse, and I don't think you can even conceive the absolute shit storm of speculation it's going to cause. 🤣 Here's what I posted over there: ".... Written by Elaine Mendonça, a correspondent from " Media Coverage"...With projections suggesting her net worth could reach $3 million to $10 million in 2024, what can we expect from Grace Vanderwaal’s future ventures that may further enhance her financial success?....". Well here's something for y'all to chew on , or up. 😁 This was sent to me personally, courtesy of Mr The Bean Pot🙏The only thing I'd like to know, after all the chewing on or up is finished... ( Sadly, without any contributions from me, 'my forearm to forehead. sobbing uncontrollably,. sob-sob:😭😉) ...Is that John Gordon's artwork from his site 'Grace Vanderwaal Edits'? And if so, did he get paid?

@@haroldwilson950 A bit of a puff piece. What is really being told is what is written between the lines. There is some machinery starting to chug away behind the scenes. Expect more write-ups in the near future as the BIG MOVIE and her album comes out. Big Big money is behind this girl and her career.

Thank you The Bean Pot, perfect. New things are coming, how cool, Grace doing what she does best, searching for a feeling in the soul and translating it into music. Talented and intelligent, she is incredible! "Success always"!!!

See what happens when you get her away from those "Pop Star Creators" and put her with other singers. I wonder how many hits she could have had if she was allowed to write songs with Dylan Kay, Melisa, Destiny or Nolan.

Still can't understand why her vocals give me a lump in my throat. Great job by the people who worked with Grace on this song, I'm betting Anti Social had no expectations for a song of this quality.

I love to hear graces voice accompanied by wind instruments, it takes me back to her first songs. It feels very nostalgic, but like a fresh breath of air all at once. The only thing I have to point out is that the instruments overpower her voice at times
