Coming here again after all those years only to appreciate what a brilant live performer she is and always was. So much energy, so full of positive vibes. She literally owns the audience with 12 yo.

You hear pure happiness when she performs. So refreshing to see and hear. Pure natural talent. She'll go far.

This young lady is absolutely amazing!!!! I can't wait to see her grow into the next milestone in which others will follow. She is absolutely, without a doubt, the most wonderful and marvelous new talent to be heard and seen in decades. That first song reminded me a little of Pat Benatar but I hear "Pink" and a little "Janis Joplin" in her as well. This young lady is going to make some waves!!!! Hold on tight!!!!!!!!!!

my new favorite grace vanderwaal concert video. she's on stage with 3 adults. this is an audience of friends and parents of friends. she doesn't show any nerves. on the contrary, have not seen her any more relaxed. have taught a lot of young kids....junior high and high school. i just can't find the words to explain this. her background of possibly not being treated so great by some girls she went to school with. that would shake most kids to the core, maybe for life in some cases. where she comes up with this stage presence and this confidence is beyond me. most people write or have their memoirs written later in life, i'm sure there are people trying to get their hands on her life story right now ? kind of hope that doesn't happen, something powerful about not letting too many secrets out too early. she's a wonderful mystery for me. loved the entrance that they designed for this concert. audience loved it, she thrived on it and this little band sounded really great to me. also, for anyone that reads this....if you let the next few youtube videos play you will see more of this free concert in suffern, ny. different people posting. paul c. and family have a couple of them. thanks to all. grace, lot's of people would love for you to be their left hand man!

great ross....i am with you 100%. not sure this even needs to be said at this point. bought the walmart version of grace's first ep. best money i've spent on anything in a long time. yeah, you can listen to her for free via youtube. having that cd on loop while i'm driving along here in west michigan. makes everything just a little bit better. playing it to a sunset on a beautiful easter sunday sunset on the shores of lake michigan, now that's really heavenly. after all this her voice still gives me chills.....in a good way....mnolan@rainforestandreef.org

Watching this back after almost year gone by and I hope this is the direction she goes in the future. A band, her raspy, rockin voice, and her rocking her uke or guitar. She's definitely more a rocker or folk star than a pop star.

I saw her singing imagine Lenon and her first performance on AGT, and from that time I'm her big fan that's amazing, she's going to be 2,5 years old and she's rushing forward so hard working, great respect

This young lady has one heck of a future..She has a unique voice and style as well as great writing abilities for age 12. Add the fact she has a wonderful stage presence Shes got it all!!!

Hi, M Weilermann, there is no such thing as a fake twenty one pilots fan. And to Angela Cecil, the band has said to not abbreviate their band name. (to do 21p or 21 pilots or anything like that) So, you should probably start calling them twenty one pilots instead of 21 pilots.

Cal I hadn't noticed before, but she intro-ed her guitarist as her Music Theory teacher. I also finally figured out that, as you said, the Strawberry festival was after the live golden buzzer, but before the AGT airing of the golden buzzer. And this is also during that 2 1/2 month wait between the golden buzzer and the "Beautiful Thing" semi-final. If you like Grace, you can help but like these 2 songs. You can hear the audience react when she kicks into high gear vocally. I'm trying to get together a Grace timeline, but boy is it complicated. I keep finding holes in it. I'll keep trying, but a definitive historical timeline is something that is needed. (Brad)

Yes but you forget that in today's music world they don't use a full band much because on a laptop you can create one. The band was used because she sang a lot more songs than the 21 pilots song. Grace performed many times after this day on stage by herself
