My faith in modern musicians has just come back, this type of music I grew up with; modern musicians are not really my cup of tea until now. Thank you Grace for restoring my faith in what’s to come in the future, stay healthy and safe & keep on rocking.

The mucicians are still coming and going at the same rate as before, it's only that the music companies don't see dollar signs one them so you can't rely on mainstream radio and media to make you aware of them. You gotta dig. It looks like Grace Bowers is bringing a lot of attention to other established musicians that have been around, and even some other young ones, that haven't gotten the mainstream money bath. She's not only fun for regular folk to listen to, but she's really a musician's musician to boot.

Seventeen and so good !! Hope she can keep her head on straight and people treat her well!!8
I'm hearing bits of Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Luther Dickinson...not to mention Jimi and SRV...simply remarkable that a 17 year old can assimilate so much diverse music...

Came here to say all of this. Was not disappointed.
She literally LIVES her music somewhere between Joe Walsh and Carlos Santana. Just a pure talent.
I love how the vocalist is just enjoying this.
MY HEAVENS SAKE! I almost want to cry! GO CHILD! GO! ❤
I hope everyone around her takes good care of her!

There’s a new king in town. Or should I say queen. Very impressive Grace.
There's some Derek Trucks vibes about some of this...but also wonderfully original

I love this girl...she is going to murder it!
WOW! Love the rendition of "Lenny" and SRV highlights. Grace and the band show their skills for sure! 👏👏👏
I’ve been following Grace ever since she came on the scene. Her version of SRV’s “Lenny” is soooo good - she brought tears to my eyes!!!
Fantastic - so good to see a new generation playing this stuff... I'd love to see you share a stage with Kingfish... That would be sonic heaven!
Her talent deserves that tone. My goodness. It doesn’t get better than that.
Geez! How does someone so young play so well?!

Wow!!! I'm see exactly what Nancy Wilson was talking about. You have a beautiful style and expression. Just keep moving and don't stop for "too" much play. You don't have to go anywhere you have arrived already! At 17 !!! You are now on my music list and I'm passing that to my sister and our friends. I really enjoyed that so much. Well be listening! Good luck 🍀
I'm enjoying Ester's enjoyment. Grace is amazing. She got herself a fine backing band too.

Saw srv in 86,this young lady is bad ass!!! Soooo glad the younger folks still know great music!!!!!
Kid can play. Sheesh. And I love, in several videos, the folks in the background alternately in ecstasy or awe.
That was pretty badass!
This is a great showcase of so many things you've learned, managed and accomplished in '23 and '24. And let's hear it for THE PODGE!
AWESOME the sky is the limit young lady thank you for sharing 🎶🎵🎸👍
Blues ain’t going away as some say, there will always be someone young to keep it going on GOD BLESS!
Such beautiful playing! There’s a bit of Chris Buck to her phrasing, which is about the highest compliment I can give! She doesn’t overplay; she gives the music room to breathe. Looking forward to many more years of awesome playing to come.
Amazing, Grace, how sweet the sound!
What chops this young lady has at only 17!! ❤❤
The music world loves you Grace ✌️🤟
Great Grace.
Thank you Grace. You made my day. It has been years since I was moved so much.
My eyes got heavy and I think I nodded off for a minute. peaceful like. Then you woke me up and ka bloooie I'm all wrapped around what's going on.
Excellent! At only 17 I hope the vultures in the industry stay away from her.
I’d Love to see Grace play a gig with Nancy & Ann Wilson!
Just incredible, and reassuring there are young musicians like her who get it.
This whole band has so much feel.
Fabulous fabulous fabulous. Bliss guitar this Girl. Remarkable.
Holy Sh*t, this girl got it goin' on!
Amazing Grace !
Super fast and talented, the heart and soul will come.Thank you for keeping the Blues Alive Grace. And GO-NOCAL!
I never wanted that to end …. 🙌🏽
holy smoke, that was awesome
Amazing skill set powered by an incredible sense of direction.
I just saw Grace and this band at BottleRock here in Napa, CA, just last night. Almost no one knew her before the show but now they will never forget her. She blew everybody's mind. She is classy, poised, and talented and it will be exciting to see where she takes this.
Well done Grace. I love the variations on the riff in "Scuttlebuttin' ".
the "Old Man in the attic" cries...........thank you!
Amazing talent, putting in all the work gigging! 🙌🏼
She reminds me of a young Nancy Wilson! Great stuff...

@@scottklandl488 Thanks for asking. Hendrix didn’t originally sing either and was content being a guitarist, but then their singer didn’t show up in one of his first solo studio sessions so he had to sing, and the rest is history. Her heroes also literally are guitarist/singers. I just gave you two good reasons. Plus, she has a nice speaking voice and some soul obviously, which usually translates to a good singing voice, and especially in blues. That’s three good reasons now. Thank you again for asking.

Jimi, Eric, SRV, Bonnamasa, Knopfler, many more worked at it until they were good singers, or really guitarists who sing.

Voice lessons don't make a person into a singer.
As I watched this, I'm thinking, "where is this kid getting all this stuff?" That pretty melodic sequence in the beginning was really heart rending at times, and the speed she has other times is really magnificent... wish you all good , and keep giving it, and you'll get it all back in time...Your fan, AL

Bass player is in a trance just on autopilot back there. This entire thing is magic....far out.
She made it hers while showing hommage. Merci.
One of my dreams is to one day be able to play drums for grace whether it’s just for one song or a jam or whatever
Definitely shades of the late and very great Jeff Beck in the girl’s playing
Stevie would’ve been blown away.

Perfect expression my friend!!!
She did to SRV what SRV did to Hendrix, especially that lick at 7:20. She's bringing it to another level. It's a fairly long video with a slow start, so if you're initially un-wowed with some of the noodling, start at around 3:00 to see a solo guitar improvisation and watch how the initial theme is built up to a great climax. But don't miss 6:15! Amazing talent.

Good stuff Grace. You remind me of Sadie Johnson, ten years ago, when she was 16.
Amazing Grace! I'll say this Ms Bowers, your passion for life shows everytime you plug that guitar in. You're truly a talented person and what sets you apart is your desire to create and that feel you have. Eric Clapton once described soloing as figuring out his boxes and then use his guitar as his voice..or sings with his guitar. I see you doing the same thing. 🙂 Excellent!! Rock on Grace!!!
Old Stevie Ray got him a Texas wide 😁 in Heaven right now!❤
Oh my!!!!! I gotta see her! Great
Phenomenal, that's almost there! as good as some of the greats, amazing guitar player I hope your style last many years and spreads to many ears ☮️ as I'm typing it's gettin even better, drummer tight on it too, deadly
Bass player is as cool as a duck. Lays the perfect foundation for Grace to fly on.

nice intonation and great feel!

Wow. I even heard a little Buzz Feiten in there at 2:30 - 3:00. A good example is Superwoman by Stevie Wonder.
Her touch kills me.
Just found her a song ago. Noice! More than a passing nod to the great Derek Trucks there. Same way he moves the dynamics through a long solo without losing the direction.
Move over Bonnie there's a new lady in TOWN. 🎶🎵🎵👍
YAS!
