There seems to be quite a bit of shade being thrown at Grace. Let me remind everyone of a few things: This is a teenager who has only been playing guitar for 3 years. She was "Chosen" and thrust into the spotlight. She has been handling her "overnight success" with incredible grace. (Pun intended) Sometimes people catch a break early, and it takes time to catch up to the expectations people have for you. I remember when John Mayer won his first grammy 20+ years ago, his speech said, "This happened way too fast, and I promise to spend the rest of my career catching up." Look at him now! That's her journey too. It's tough to have the entire world watching you while you are still figuring it out. 10 years from now, she will make Orianthi look like Avril Lavigne.

Yes, and if you don't feel she is "there" yet, she's doing the right thing: playing live shows just fine at 17, like all the greats. Another thing is they've put together an excellent band that can clearly go on to a greater variety of pieces. The intro by Prince was just as excellent.
